Proof of No Edit: Bobby Gray with Real Infinite Crypto

An unscripted live conversation between Bobby Gray and YouTuber Brad of Real Infinite Crypto — two eras of the TXC community, why the mine alone doesn't make your coins valuable, the exchange-of-value spectrum before and after the cease-and-desist, and why network marketing is coming back.

Two very different entry points

An unscripted live conversation between Bobby Gray and YouTuber Brad of Real Infinite Crypto — two eras of the TXC community, why the mine alone doesn't make your coins valuable, the exchange-of-value spectrum before and after the cease-and-desist, and why network marketing is coming back.

Bobby opened with an observation about the TEXITcoin community: the people who joined on the dirt road in McKinney in April 2024 joined for entirely different reasons than the people who joined a year later. The early crowd bought into a mission with no exchanges, no working tooling, barely a network — just an idea and a founder with a track record in alternative currency. The later crowd bought into momentum: the chart, the wrapped supercars, the hot air balloon, 165 people flown across the world to Bangkok and Singapore.

Neither is wrong. But the difference matters, because when the momentum stopped, the mission had to carry the weight.

Mine, trade, spend — and build

Brad's path into TXC came through network marketing and a lifelong allergy to trading time for dollars. That led into one of the strongest segments of the conversation: the difference between an asset that pays you and an asset you actually have to steward.

The mine gives you the reward. It does not make the reward valuable. That part is on the community — building on the chain, moving coins, paying gas, onboarding merchants, learning custody. Bobby noted the mempool going from one transaction at a time to steady multi-transaction blocks as builders show up. The old billboard slogan needs a fourth word: mine, trade, spend, build.

The exchange-of-value spectrum

The most candid stretch covered the referral program. It started at one extreme — the "magic money plan," where people collected thousands a week without doing much of anything. Rules came later, and the model drifted toward the middle: you do something, we do something. Then the February 11 cease-and-desist arrived and everything stopped, unilaterally, everywhere — not just in Texas — out of caution and the honest admission that nobody yet knew exactly what the objection was.

That swung the pendulum to the far other end: pure mission. Not a paycheck this month, but something that matters for the next generation. Hundreds of people who had gone full-time went to zero overnight. The ask was simple and hard: stick with me, because honest money is real.

On ColdCard, and not giving up

Asked for a comment on the ColdCard entropy failure that drained hundreds of millions across the industry, Bobby threw out the boilerplate his PR team drafted. The message he wanted on record instead: don't turn back. This industry has scams, it has bad actors, and sometimes it just has people making a bad mistake. Evaluate quickly which one you're looking at — then keep going, carefully, because the future depends on getting honest money right.

Brad's addition: a person can endure almost anything with a little hope. Get started, never quit, and somewhere in between you figure it out. Bobby closed on a Michael J. Fox line he keeps handy — with gratitude, optimism is sustainable.

Network marketing is coming back

The conversation ended where it started, on community. MLM is a dirty word, and Bobby's answer is that he isn't apologizing for building an incentive for people to share the story. It was shut down in February out of caution. It is coming back — because nothing else brings a community together the way it does, and the corporate ladder certainly doesn't.
