Bitcoin Redo: TEXITcoin Takes the WDMS Stage in Las Vegas

Wednesday, May 28, 2025

Bobby Gray's keynote at the World Digital Mining Summit — why TEXITcoin is a crypto time machine, what tariffs are doing to miners, and where the network goes next.

AI Summary

Bobby Gray takes the stage at the World Digital Mining Summit in Las Vegas — his second year at the conference — and delivers TEXITcoin's message to a room full of the global mining industry. Highlights: - Conference keynotes ahead of Bobby cover the new realities of data center development: rack densities jumping from 12kW to 200kW and beyond, liquid vs. air cooling uncertainty, West Texas labor shortages solved by off-site modular prefabrication, and the challenge of pulling long-haul fiber to remote sites. - Bobby introduces TEXITcoin as an original Layer 1 digital currency designed for Texas, by Texans — a Litecoin-derived, Scrypt proof-of-work chain he describes as "a crypto time machine" built to return to the pure, mission-driven early days of cryptocurrency. - "TEXITcoin is picking up where the Bitcoin guys left off" — digital, decentralized, peer-to-peer money, the mission the industry forgot when it sold out to the same banks and institutions it set out to disrupt. - The story of last year's WDMS: garage-mined L3s, unbearable noise and heat, discovering immersion cooling, and connections with BitMain and Fog Hashing that built the mine TEXITcoin runs today. - A pointed critique of tariffs and import duties on ASICs and cooling gear — foreign entanglements the founders warned about, paid out of the pockets of individuals, and a weaponized dollar that makes honest trade harder. - Network specifics shared from stage: roughly a 3-minute block time and 254 TXC per block, with a Texas-scale mine being built to power the community currencies coming with Layer 2. - Bobby brought ~70 people with him to the summit, and closes on the promotion engine driving growth — including the nine TEXITcoin trucks rolling down Las Vegas Boulevard — with money going to commissions, the mine, and promoting the coin.

Another side of the globe. So, let's go in and hang tight, and I'll be back.

In just a few minutes.

Um, but…

The last time I'm not talking about big. And happy to talk to folks.

I'm calling you generically the compute. And, uh, but I'm trying to summarize here is… All of the technical requirements that make up a data center development projects. We're seeing, you know, namely driven by between physical locations, so a shift to harsher, you know, environments in Texas, for example.

A shift to, like, we could shift pooling, um, an increase in, um.

You know, power capacity, all these things are, um, driving a lot of changes to the data center, which makes it very difficult for a developer to pick their spot.

And so maybe starting at the top. Um, what kind of application are we talking about here? Are we building a Tier 1 facility, or are we building a Tier 3 facility?

Are we mining Bitcoin, or are we… I mean, you know, um… answering folks' queries on ChatGPT.

You know, it… obviously, this is a major differentiator. There are some things, and Can you come pick me up tomorrow at, uh… The other conference down the street will be talking about some of the alignment between the Tier 1 and Tier 3 facilities, but, you know, basically, this is a question that we ask ourselves at Cypher, and, you know, we have

A bunch of wonderful opportunities that are in front of us.

And, you know, some of those are Bitcoin, and some of those are AI, but we're constantly evaluating each one.

Kind of independently, trying to maximize the value of every electron.

And so, you know, BTC, sometimes people say that, and maybe this is You know, it's true that the margins are a little bit higher.

Um, and then on the HPC side, of course, you've got massive revenues in those projects.

Um, another… another big thing that we're… we're seeing is… you know, rewind 10, 20 years ago when I first started.

We were building, like, you know, 10, maybe 12 KW racks, and that was really cool at the time.

We're really excited about those things. Now we're designing for Um, about 200 KW, and then, you know, we're looking ahead to… 400 KW, I think there's been some reports of a 1MW rack that's floating around the internets.

Um, but those are… those are really big changes in rack density.

And it's causing us to really contemplate how we bring the low voltage up to the rack.

Um, and similarly, on the cooling side. You know, we're seeing a… quite a spread in terms of you know, supply water temperature.

Flow rate. Um, the difference between liquid cooling load and air-cooled load. Each of the AI end users are reporting different figures, or are asking for different figures.

And so it's causing us to have to really think about how we… you know, how we solve for today's challenge, but also know that you know, after the end of that lease, if we aren't to renew, we're to go with another provider.

There could be massive changes, and so how do we pre-position for those changes to occur, knowing that they're going to happen.

How much money do you spend on things that you can't use today.

But will make your life much easier tomorrow when you're forced to change.

Um, and then 4 kind of goes back to the workforce.

We're out, and I'll just tell you a story about Cypher. We're out there in West Texas. West Texas is not a hub for… skilled data center, um, construction workers. It's kind of a newer thing, although it's growing, there's been a lot of data centers built there over the last few years.

A lot of that labor is coming in from, um, Tier 1 metropolitans like Houston and Dallas.

Um, and, you know, while we've had some success doing that, you know, Cypher's, uh.

Cypher's approach has been to do whatever we can to reduce the amount of labor on our site. And so we do that by maximizing the amount of labor off-site.

And we tend to… Well, not tend to. We… We wholeheartedly, uh, modularize and prefabricate, uh, as much as we can off-site.

And then we focus those products in markets where there are high volumes in a high density of of those skilled laborers that specialize in the Pacific product. So.

It's wonderful to see that that market really taking off in the United States.

I haven't heard of folks in West Virginia, necessarily, but… but there's a lot of wonderful manufacturers out there in the U.S. And globally Because we have some wonderful partners in China as well.

People doing some wonderful things, and so… It's… it's a… it's a… it's necessary to prioritize those opportunities.

And finally, I'll kind of end with connectivity. Um, you know, some of us are fortunate to be off of long-haul fiber pathways in Texas. Others are building a little bit further away from that.

And it gets increasingly more challenging to bring fiber optic cable to the site.

And so, for those of you who haven't seen the show Landman, Paramount's new hit, uh, show, I highly recommend watching it.

It does do a decent job of, kind of. You know, dramatizing the situation out in West Texas, but there are skilled, you know, crafts that specialize in negotiating fighter ways with these Sometimes, you know, these are multi-generation estate owners out in West Texas.

Our landlord, for example, is third generation, they've owned the land since 1907.

And uh… and so there are folks out there called landmen, um.

And agents, as they're also called, that can help you to define pathways to get to your site.

And, uh, ensure that you've got, um, the right type of connectivity for the application at hand.

I'm gonna end it there, and, uh, say thanks, and good luck out there.

Thank you. And next, please welcome Andy Joe, CEO of EndBull, with a keynote titled, Innovating for Distensualization.

And both technological contributions to Bitcoin. Welcome, Andy. So I go right after this one.

And if you want some commentary on it real quick… you know, when I look at when I watch these things is that, man, open it again.

What are they doing? We're spending hundreds of millions, billion?

You have to double the invalid. I would say… thank you, thank you for all the grinding.

For your contribution to the mining industry. And I think Bitcoin won't let anybody down.

Authorize you to fail it.

Alright, let me start with the caption. Now, that I'd be reflecting on as a fee or add?

Why do we need money? Don't say it's easy, Ryan.

Think about it. If your own bad person. Of the total halfway. That doesn't guarantee you are 5% of the block reversed.

Money. It's a pop-up ballistic game. But the minority certainty.

And that's what we're monitoring tools come in. Anyway, joy pool is like Dubai Insurance.

It's like a premium for a stable and predictable reversion. And the more importantly.

Putting on the bike, everything. And you don't have to run your own food node, and you don't have to run your own Bitcoin D.

To set up a comp and a manual address, and you're in business.

And that is substantially what AMPO has been doing. We are one of the largest demonic blue in the world.

And would have been on top of the brand have been there for a long 10 years.

We protect minor output from high-rich prolaparation and scam. And it will also protect data security.

That's too late comply with absolute standards.

But we don't stop here. In this class involving the dream.

Repeating one input must take on greater responsibility. We see this responsibility in 2K dimensions.

The first of helping our vendors to earn more Bitcoin. And second, as one of the largest money pool.

Thinking with responsibility for the long-term health and the decentralization of the DACO network.

A couple of mine are mold. We'll introduce the two calls already.

The first 8th hour and coupon, investment platform. Offer both a practical and a fifth and third BGC West investment product.

With antivirus in them. Market average.

And we are also exploring the uncertainty five financial product. That would offer you a better youth.

Second, if our BTC faction funding services. Along minor, you can just provide your BDC and the full USDT to cover the electricity bill.

Without having to throw your opponent. Based on our back casting, the miner uses 3.

Over the past year. Oh, I'm also a 50% boost in the gross margin.

And we are grateful that so many minors I've chosen to contribute their half-free plan.

And thus, he will ask more power, and with it is a grid.

And the greater responsibility. We must have looked a little bit young, the Southern Games, and asked.

How can we contribute to the background's future? Our answer is build a truly decentralized multitude solution.

We must… this is a factor. We acknowledge that money today is tooth in July.

Even as the larger the money. You know, as 2025, the top two pools continuity, 46% of the narrow halfway.

What'd that mean? They may risk the transaction internship. If you are going to refresher, and then you would potentially 51% attack.

Community of outcome service and thoroughly.

And our automated centralized wanting to still use the actual APUS model.

Ensure a stable income for the miners. But here's a big story.

We return to the block template, right, to the binary. You can choose which transaction to include, or even define customer templates.

Just keep in mind there, who can't hold. Our solution balances a predictable reverse.

With real decentralization. At Ample, we are proud to leave this information.

Don't justify offering Bethy card the richest, but by taking new responsibility.

For labor, multi-centralized, the most sustainable PGC network. Thank you, all.

It goes in the spring. Great!

Only one. Oh, we're very close.

Coming out. Awesome.

Great. Nope. Hold on one sec.

I don't think that's welcome Bobby Gray.

First off, uh, by the way, I have no idea what the next video was.

Nothing to do whatsoever with us. I'm Bobby Gray, I'm the founder, and as I like to say, the fearless leader.

Of TextPoint!

Going into the future of money in Texas. It's an original Layer 1 digital currency.

That's designed for Texas, by Texans. Um, technologically speaking.

That one's a lot like Lightpoint. It's actually started as a Litecoin clone. It uses these scripts.

It started with the script, proof of work, uh, mining algorithm.

But I want you to think about text-to-point as if it's a crypto time machine.

Textapoint is designed to take us back to the early days of cryptocurrency.

Back before the crypto kids got rich, they sold out, they handed over control of the network.

The same banks and institutions that we set out to disrupt back in 2008-2009.

We're going back to the early days, back when it was pure, and it was all about the mission.

People ask me all the time, they're like, what's the utility of Texacoin? What's… what's it supposed to do?

And I say, texting point is picking up after the Bitcoin guys left off.

We're the guys that are focusing on Bitcoin's original mission, digital, decentralized, peer-to-peer.

Currency, the mission that the cryptocurrency community seems to have forgotten.

And so I'm here today to share that message with our friends from all over the world, that, uh.

Bitcoin redo is here, and it's called Texacoin. So… I paid $15,000 today to get up on stage and share my story with you.

Which means that every minute that I'm up here babbling costs about $1,500, but… Super Bowl commercial, so let's see if we can make the most of it while we're here. Okay.

So this is actually my second time now at the WDMS.

Uh, about a year ago, my friends and I were hanging out, talking in the garage about the future of cryptocurrency, the future of TextCoin, what we thought it could become.

And we were having these conversations, drinking coffee over the… Bringing L3s that we had in our garage.

All this noise is producing all this incredible feat. Robbing like flies in the middle of the night.

That there's got to be a better way to do this. I did some research, and of course, there is a better way.

Immersion cooling, and I said, where am I going to go to learn more about this? I found the WDMS conference, I booked myself an SVIP ticket.

And I came out here, and I got to learn from some of the best and brightest minds in the entire industry.

About how to run our network more efficiently, more quietly, more cost-effectively. I connected with some friends at BitMain, I connected with our friends at Fog Hashing. Any Fog Hashing people here in the room?

My foundation prints? And I got some of the greatest equipment brought it out to Texas and started to set it up.

And install it and create the network that we have today, and it's going very, very well.

And, you know, I kind of discovered over time as we're buying all these ASICs from our friends overseas, that the cost to import is starting to skyrocket, right?

And I find myself, once again, right in the crosshairs, right at the crossfire of a trade war.

And we've got tariffs, we've got import duties. And I said, this doesn't make any sense whatsoever. How long were we supposed to make friends and build relationships with our partners overseas?

When you have to pay these crazy costs. To get the best equipment in the world. I mean, there's all kinds of stuff that's made all over the world.

If rate is technology for ASICS comes from our friends at Bitmain.

The greatest hydrocooling solutions come from the other friends we've made here.

And the cost to import all this stuff is going through the roof.

And I said, Ma, how far we've come. 250 years ago, when our country got started.

Our founders warned about foreign entanglement. They advised us to avoid making alliances. They said free trade with all and alliances with none.

And then today, they seem to have forgotten at that conference across the street that it's people, it's individuals like you and me that have to pay those crazy tariffs.

At the end of the day, we have to pay them out of our own pocket.

And that's no way for us to make friends with our allies and our partners on the other side of the world.

And I want to talk to you guys here today about Textapoint, because today, Texapoint is our second chance.

It's our opportunity to learn from all the things that the cryptocurrency industry did right.

Back in the early days, when it was all about that mission.

Of establishing an alternative, honest money system. So that we could trade with each other, exchange value back and forth, and not have to go through a bank or a government to do that.

Today, we've weaponized the dollar. We established these import tariffs and duties to make it more difficult for us to do business with our friends on the other side of the world.

And so today, I want to share our story of Texacoin with you.

I want to encourage you to do your research on it.

Check us out at Texacoin.org if you'd like to learn more about our digital currency.

We mind a block about every 3 minutes, 254 text deployment per block is the reward.

And if you'd like to learn more about our mining program and help us build out this reliable network.

It's designed to be big enough and strong enough exclusively in the state of Texas to power our community currencies.

That are coming as we develop our Layer 2 in the near future, then check us out at mindct.com.

But we want to trade with you guys. There's great stuff from all over the world. We want to bring our story of peace and prosperity to you.

As we connect with our friends throughout the industry, and continue to build our network.

Um, I decided to come back here this year, share the story, and bring about 70 of my favorite people with you guys, so thank you, Amanda.

Coming on back out and spending some time. And, uh, you guys can all learn as much as I did last year. You know, I've got a lot of good ideas, but I don't have all the ideas.

And so I'm hoping that you guys can pick up on some of the great things that we're learning here at this conference as well, and take them home with us, and find out how we can make the Texapoint network even bigger, even better, and even stronger, without becoming

Gigantic and inefficient as some of the other guys are out there. But that's all for me. I'm Bobby Graham, the founder of Textacoin. I want to thank you again for having me here as your confidence.

Boom! That's ridiculous, thank you, that was a great presentation. Maximum listens here on electric technology incorporation.

Thanks. There you go. That's my little speech. Hopefully you guys were able to catch it. Hopefully it sounded okay.

Uh, first time up on stage in a long time! You know, normally I get to spend my time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Thursdays with you in front of a… computer and the safety and comfort of my own home.

Uh, but, uh, every once in a while, I get to… to dress up and jump out on stage, and share our story with the world. So here's where it begins. You know, we've got a… A lot of things that are coming down the pike

That are geared towards promotion. And marketing. You know, we've got a big promotion and marketing budget. Maybe you've already seen.

Some of the pictures or the video of our trucks driving down Las Vegas Boulevard.

We got 9 of them, and you can't miss them, and it's really cool.

But remember, as we continue to grow and crowdsource what's going to be the next top crypto.

We spend that money on paying out commissions to the people that help us grow, to building the mine.

And to promoting our coin. There's a lot more that we do.

Uh, but those are the main things that, uh, that have allowed us to get to where we are today, and will continue to guide us into this bright future.

That we're creating. So I'm going to cut it short and get back to the conference.

And, uh, I'm gonna say thank you very much for tuning in, thanks you for joining, thanks for a great week, thanks for all the patience.

Uh, that you guys have afforded us as we continue to… build out our systems and our processes and our procedures to make it so that this thing can continue to scale quickly, easily, professionally.

Uh, without a lot of pain and frustration. And, uh, we'll talk again on Thursday night. Bobby Gray, founder, fearless leader, Texacoin.

We'll see you guys
