Crypto Bros: The White Flag of Defeat

Thursday, July 23, 2026

Bobby Gray reports from Toronto: the TSSB files its response, Strike cuts off the mine's payment rail, Conroe's hash power triples after a network fix, and the crypto industry gets called out for surrendering the mission.

AI Summary

Bobby Gray broadcasts solo from Toronto after the Blockchain Futurist Conference, and the gloves come off with the wider crypto industry. **Legal:** Counsel confirms the Texas State Securities Board filed its response to TEXITcoin's motion for summary disposition — expected, and just one more step in the process. Bobby restates the core defense: no pyramid, no Ponzi, no rug pull, no pump-and-dump, no meme coin, no ICO — and no arrests, no kicked-in doors, after a five-month examination. **Collateral damage:** Strike suspended TEXITcoin's account citing the emergency cease and desist — no appeal, no rebuttal. That account was tied to the four-cent electricity arrangement at the mine, a concrete example of how an eight-page accusation causes real operational and reputational harm before any hearing. **Mining:** The Conroe outage is diagnosed and fixed — a single-point-of-failure pool server plus a network that couldn't handle 1,200 ASICs on one connection. Business-grade gear went in and each of the six containers now proxies its own traffic, cutting 1,200 connections down to six. Hash power jumped from ~7.2 TH to over 19 TH, with 23+ TH sold and still to be installed. The mine is profitable again, which means TXC gets mined for free — the plan from day one. **Crypto bros, the white flag:** Bobby's read on the conference floor — rooms full of Web3, Web4, agentic commerce and DeFi talk while nobody can explain crypto to a stranger in a grocery store. He argues the industry surrendered the original mission: an honest, usable alternative currency. TEXITcoin makes noise precisely because it isn't hiding in the shadows trying to avoid upsetting banking partners who control the rails.

I'm sorry. What's up, everybody? Bobby Gray here, founder, fearless leader of Texacoin, joining you live from Toronto, Canada, where we just wrapped up the Blockchain Futurist Conference that went down over the last couple of days. Thanks so much for tuning in. I've got quite the agenda for us this evening. It'll just be me, by the way. Maddie is on a plane traveling back home. And we've got a lot to discuss, but it's mostly about Texacoin and what happened over the last couple of days here in Toronto. So I don't want to tie up too many other people with tonight's call. So let's begin and see if we can... wrap up this call in our normal one hour time limit. Okay, so first and foremost, you know, over the last couple of years, we've tried to try to not have too much of a of a controversial relationship with our friends in the industry. We've said from long ago that this is not an anti-bank project. It's not an anti-Bitcoin project. It's not here to crush or defeat or destroy anything whatsoever. We're here to give the world options and to make the world a better place. And of course, almost all of that is true. But as we mature, as we get older and wiser, we're beginning to find out who our friends are and who some of the guys are that are out there to stop us. And it seems like such a silly thing because we're talking about honest money. Who could be out there against honest money? Well, we don't like the way you do it. Right, right, right. Okay. So... You know, we show up at this conference in Toronto and the room's full of, you know, guys that are talking about Web three and Web four. I'm even hearing Web four is is coming our way. And I'm like, scratch my head. And I'm like, man, these guys just don't seem to get it. When crypto came out all those years ago, it gave us an alternative. It gave us a real usable, flexible, powerful alternative. And so it's really, Kind of like strange for me that everyone in the industry doesn't see the same opportunity that I do. I don't understand why they're not as eager to see, you know, an honest alternative currency take root. They're more interested in the agentic commerce and they're more interested in all these other concepts that really seem to miss the whole purpose of crypto in the first place. So I want to talk about that. Before we get into that, I've got a little bit of housekeeping to share with you. Some exciting stuff happening in our worlds. Let me see if I can flip over to that screen and share it with you. There we go. Somebody was in here messing around with my settings earlier. I'm trying to find the right things. Share screen, share window. This is it. The empire strikes back. Just moments ago, I got an email from our council saying, guess who has filed a response to our motion for summary disposition. Now, just to to just talk about the basics real quick here. Number one is we knew that this was coming. This is not something that was a surprise. We knew that this is just one of the steps in the process that we're going through where we will get a response to the motion that we filed, I don't know, was it last week, the week before? And so they responded to our motion today. It's long. It's hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pages long. I'm not sure if it's good long or bad long because I haven't gone through it completely yet. And I don't know enough about it yet to know if it's okay to share it all with you right now. There's a lot of stuff in here. and our attorneys haven't even reviewed it yet it's hot off the press literally so as soon as they go through it and they give me the green light to publish it to the website where we've got all the other legal updates shared um i'll give you more information on it but it literally just happened right now if you know how to get into the public um you know case log on this whole thing and download it for yourself feel free to please do so because if it's there then it does mean in fact that it's public and something we can share. Once I get more information from our council on whether or not this is public and shareable, I will update the website and make sure that you've got direct access to all the good information. like you normally do, but we don't have that yet. Cause I literally, I got it two minutes before I took a nap, all jet lagged over here. And then I woke up a couple of minutes ago, took a quick look at it myself and said, wow, there's a lot there, which is interesting. You know, when we got the original cease and desist, it was extremely thin. We got the evidence file. It was also extremely thin. And so, you know, you look at this and you say, are they even trying? Are they even taking this seriously? And, you know, you look at the. The response that they filed now and you go, OK, yeah, yeah, yeah, they're they're taking it seriously. Most of the pages are just printouts of the website. I went through and I said, yeah, okay, there's a lot of website pages here. I don't know if I can easily scroll down and show you what I'm talking about, but you can see that there's a lot of things that go through and deal with. the different legal positions that we took. But, you know, it's copies of emails, copies of welcome messages, copies of all kinds of different things. And so it's not it's not, you know, seventeen thousand pages of legal mumbo jumbo. It's a lot. But most of it is exhibits and evidence that they're going to to share with with the official record. So we'll see what happens. But of course, we've got the best team in the world working on this right now. We take it very seriously, as should you. We've complied with the order from day one as we continue to do so. And we'll see how things shake out over time. But we'll go through it. And like I said, give you our honest opinion and update and perspective on it. as soon as we've got a green light from the attorneys to get into more depth and detail on that. So that's number one. And then the second thing that went down this week is we finally got our mining pool working, which is a huge thing. If you scroll down pool.honest.money, You can take a look at the thirty day hash power history for our network and see that we were running and kind of humming quite along quite well at seven point two terahash. A couple of little blips here. This is probably either planned maintenance or an upgrade or the server not tracking things properly or the network going down or all of the above. But seven point two was a pretty reliable number for us for a while. Then all of a sudden we started plugging in a six. We saw it jump up to a new plateau. That's probably, you know, two new containers coming online. As soon as you plugged in the third one, boom, the whole thing went down. Now, the network didn't go down, but the containers in Conroe. Definitely created a major problem. And so, you know, we went through and tried to understand exactly, you know, what's at risk when a power outage happens or maintenance happens or a container goes down and you know we we know that if the network goes down in conroe the app's going to continue to work you know we're not going to have a problem with opening the app on our phone if the network is down in conroe uh will we be able to put in a recipient wallet scan that wallet and then send txc To that wallet. Sure, of course. But it getting there and then getting mined into a block may be limited if there's a network problem. So we monitor these things and we're getting better at monitoring these things. We've got a lot of new tools that have been developed through, you know, the the great AI systems that we're using now. But when this kind of thing happens and the network goes all the way down to zero, first of all, it's very, very scary. And second of all, it's all hands on deck to figure out what's really broken, where the problem is and how do we get it back up? We've been talking for a long time about utility. We've been talking for a very long time about building a network that the world trusts enough to build on top of. So we put this thing together. It's layer one. And then we need people to go, hey, I can build an application on your network. I can build a dApp on your network. I can build a service, a social media thing, a video sharing site, a fair and festival monetary system. There's an unlimited number of things that can be built But the network has to be reliable. If the network's not reliable, then we're not able to support mission critical applications. And that's going to be a major, you know, inhibitor for people to evaluate us, take us seriously and build on top of our network. And so the network needs to stay online now. Funnily enough, somebody told me, well, did you hear that Bass was down the other day? Some other network, some big network was down for a while. And I said, no, I didn't hear that, but that's kind of a big deal. And so we're monitoring our network performance. We want it to be extremely reliable. And we know that if we're not able to make this extremely consistent, that the world is not going to take us seriously and they'll be unlikely to build on our network. Now, does that mean game over for us? No, of course not. It just means that it'll take us more time and more energy to have a reputable product that we can share with the world. And so as we watch this, we say, oh man, what happened? What went wrong? We thought we were doing the right thing by plugging these containers in. So we found really two issues. Issue number one was on the pool side of things. So all of the mines are crunching that electricity and submitting shares to the pool server. We've only got one pool server. So obviously there's a big single point of failure there that has to be dealt with before, I'm comfortable saying we're ready for the world to build on top of us. But then the second problem that we have was a network issue where when you've got twelve hundred ASICs hammering away on a single Internet connection, you've got You know, a real challenge there. It's not something that you're like home Linksys twenty nine dollar, you know, Wi-Fi router is able to support. And so that's not exactly what we had in Conroe at that facility, but it's not too far off. And so it was a great opportunity for us to pause, do more research on the business level quality hardware that needs to be put into place. We replaced that equipment down there. And then what we did, which was a good idea, we started to move the the firewalls and the devices that are doing kind of like an IP proxy into each one of the individual containers. So we've got six containers there now, and each one of those containers now is doing its own proxy, which bundles up all of that internet traffic and opens up one channel to our pool server so that it's not twelve hundred individual connections. Instead, now it's six. And so that really takes some of the pressure off of the local area network there, which is a huge deal. And so we had to buy the equipment. We got it out there. We figured out what was wrong with the pool server. And this was, you know, the period of time where we're figuring that out. Now, as you know, the network was still online. And so even when we're looking at the last seven days of hash power and saying, well, it was only running at like eight hundred giga hash. for half the last week, the network still operates. So what happens is when you have all of this hash power up here cranking away and then something goes wrong, it takes the network a little while to realize that the difficulty has decreased and it picks up kind of where it left off. So the transactions go from your phone into the mempool or from your wallet into the mempool, and then they wait there until they're mined into a block. What exactly happens during that process is probably a little bit magical. and over my head, but I do know that those transactions will accumulate there in the mempool and wait for a miner to come along and mine them into a block. The problem is that if the difficulty of the network stays consistent and the hash power drops drastically down, the network isn't really listening for the blocks that are submitted by the miners that are still online until that difficulty readjusts and comes down to a level where this forty eight or the seventy two miners that are still hashing out of the other sites pick up where they left off and and find those transactions in the men pool and are able to successfully put them into a block. I know there's a lot of technical stuff there. Again, some of it I understand, some of it I don't understand. So I'm definitely not expecting all of you to understand it. But the thing that you should understand is that the network continued to operate, even though the two containers that we had in Conroe went offline and the four additional ones that we were setting up, didn't go into service yet. And so really what we saw, what we actually saw during this period here was about four hours of no blocks being made. And so as soon as we got the pool server restarted, blocks started getting found again. And then from there, it was a matter of diagnostics, figuring out exactly what was wrong and bringing the network back online. This over here, this big drop that just happened yesterday, we're actually just now past the twenty four hour mark of that happening. That was planned maintenance in Conroe. But the same thing happens. So if you take a big site that's got twelve hundred L-nines hashing offline, the rest of the network is still there. It's still supporting the network, but it'll take a while for the next block to be found. because of the difficulty readjustment that has to take place and takes a little bit of time before it's able to find that other block. And so this is why we talked about diversifying the network across thirty five sites in Texas. You know, the original plan, if you go back to the first video, thirty five megawatts, thirty five sites, one megawatt sites rolled out all over the state so that if one of those sites goes down, we're not talking about losing ninety percent of our hash power. We're talking about losing one thirty fifth of our hash power. People have asked questions about like, well, what's your backup look like? What's your power? You know, generators look like? What are your, what are your, you know, diesel generators doing out there to make sure that the site stays online? And we said, well, we don't really need that. Our strategy for a backup is to have multiple sites. And now we've kind of gone back on that because we've concentrated such a huge amount of hash power in one physical location. We did that because we know that we're under the microscope right now and they're looking at the statistics on how much hash power we sold, how much we purchased, and how much we've actually got installed. So I said, look, we've got a strategy. We want to have these things diversified all over the state. That's still the goal. But in order to get the hash power up to somewhere much closer where it's supposed to be and prove That we've purchased these ASICs. We've paid for them. We receive them. We've tuned them up and we've installed them. Let's go and put those things. If we just have to do it for the next year, let's get them over there at the Conroe facility. It's lit up. It's ready for more. It's got the space. It's got the power capacity for it. It's not exactly what we want, but once we show the world that we followed through and installed the hash power that we sold, we're going to feel a lot better about it. The world's going to feel a lot better about it. And the regulators that are looking at our work are going to say, yeah, okay, it looks like they actually did what they said they were going to do. And so I would call this not a deviation from our original plan, but definitely a modification to our initial startup strategy so that we can accomplish some of those other goals and deliver a working network. We've got four more containers now that we've bought. I think we've paid three quarters or two thirds for them so far. We still have to get them here to Texas. those run the L-Nine hydro units. So we've got a surplus right now of L-Nines, but the latest generation from Bitmain is an L-Nine hydro. What's the difference? The L-Nines we have now are designed for air cooling or immersion cooling, whereas the L-Nine hydros run off water cooling in a closed system that kind of pipes the water, you know, the coolant or whatever it is that's in there through the ASIC and And so it's a different technology for how it cools, but the rack mount L-nines instead of L-nines that you would just drop into a tub. So in order for us to use them, we have to start buying new ASICs, which means we have to find something to do with the existing ASICs, which we've got plenty of ideas. But with those new containers, then we'll be able to evaluate them for new sites. So that's what's going on with the network. It's a big upgrade. And the other thing that happened while I was in the process of diagnosing and fixing this thing is I set up this new pool server interface. And so it's the same pool server that we had before. Now we've got two different ways to look at it. If you go to pool.texacoin.org, you can see the old style. If you go to pool.honest.money, you're looking at the same data set. You're just looking at it now through a fancier interface that's got a light and dark connection. uh toggle that almost works so um so i like this one a whole lot better and as soon as i am really sure that i've got this thing dialed in then we'll reach out and we'll restart the home miner program and we'll begin opening that up to uh to more people um because we know that it's working properly because now that i've gotten into the nitty-gritty i know that i can diagnose it properly we've got you know this was one of the last things that was really not yet under our complete control and so you know i i didn't um feel comfortable ramping up that home minor program until we really understood exactly how this system works uh and so we're there now so this is very exciting uh the thing that you can see normally we were hitting um What was it like an average of three, almost three Doge per day, even with the outage that we've had in the last twenty four hours and the mine picking up where that left off, we're hitting now more than that, which is extremely encouraging. Obviously, the electric bill is going to go way bigger than what we had before. So we need to hit a lot more Doge and Litecoin. And so we're just keeping a real close eye on this to make sure that mine is doing what it's supposed to do. But the net result now, guys, with this done, with this plugged in, with this working, is we've got a profitable mine, which means we get our Texas coin for free. That was the plan from day one. So we're at a point now where we haven't delivered the twenty three million terahash mega hash. Sorry. that uh that we've sold so far but to go from seven point two all the way up to over nineteen terahash is a huge jump and i know the mega hash gigahash terahash thing is confusing just think you know when we say a hundred million mega hash we're talking about a hundred terahash so now that the numbers are starting to get bigger we can talk about them using a different unit of measurement and simplify it a little bit take some of the zeros out of the equation so we're looking for you know a hundred million mega hash which would be a hundred tera hash but if you remember from the statistics off the mind txc website we've sold twenty three just over twenty three point one i think tera hash And so our job now is to install that twenty three plus terahash, which is us following through on our promise of building the mine. We've already proven that we've paid the commissions. We've already proven that we've promoted our project. Building the mine is, of course, the first job and responsibility that we have to do. And now it's the last one that's catching up because of all the work that goes into the infrastructure, the transformers, the hundreds of thousands of dollars of copper wire, the cross connections with the power grid, the purchasing and the receiving of the ASICs, preparing them for the immersion cooling. There's a lot that goes into that. And I appreciate your patience and I appreciate the regulators that have been looking at those statistics. I appreciate that you understand the monumental task that is getting all that stuff and then getting it actually installed. That's the magic number there. That's what we're working towards. We want to make sure that we install all the hash power that we've sold. We purchased way more Then we sold, which gives us, you know, kind of some bragging rights. But the reality is that our job is not done until all twenty three point one terahash is installed, which means we've got a long way to go. But if you look at where we were thirty days ago running at seven point two and you look at where we are today now over nineteen, you can see it's almost three times where we were before and a huge step in the right direction. know and these are fun things guys because look i can get on these calls all day long and i can tell you um what i'm doing and i can ask you to believe me uh but ins until you see the charts for yourself until you see you know this stuff and i and i guess we could fake this stuff if we tried really hard and some people have so it's understandable that you could be a skeptic um but If we do the job and we follow through, then eventually we'll see enough data on chain to prove that we are in fact doing what we said. And I think that, you know, with the network being now completely permissionless and anybody having the ability to spin up a node and do their own queries with our network through the API, we should be far enough along now that people will take the actual data seriously. In fact, one of the next steps for us and one of the final steps for us is to actually go through and get our whole entire chain verified with CoinMarketCap. Let's pull up CoinMarketCap real quick and I'll show you what I'm talking about. If you go to CoinMarketCap, you can see that we've got our chain data that was partially verified. They verified it and when they went through and verified it, they did their own algorithmic assessment of what our network is. and how many coins we actually have in our circulating supply. But this number hasn't updated since they went through and completed the verification. And the other problem we have is that because the verification was not full, they didn't fully verify our entire chain, they've got this kind of leftover remnant here about the number of holders that's related to the Wraptexacoin smart contract or contract that we have. And so it's frustrating because people look at this and they go, well, you know, call me when you've got a couple thousand participants in your community and call me when twenty percent of the supply isn't held by one person. And we're like, well, that's the data is just wrong. Well, why don't you fix it? Well, it's seventy five thousand dollars to fix it. And so we we reached out to CoinMarketCap. We told them that we really need to get this thing fixed. They said seventy five grand. now have the money we're waiting for the invoice to pay it so that we can get the entire chain verified properly now when they do that i think part of that process is them going through and actually spinning up a node for themselves and when they spin up a node for themselves that's when they get to have direct connection access to our network they can ask questions like well what's the difficulty and again maybe some of this stuff is fakeable maybe it's not i don't know enough technically you know to do that um but it'll give them a difficulty number and they'll look at it and they'll say well that's a that's a big difficulty i mean that's the kind of difficulty that you would see from somebody that was like the tenth largest miner of litecoin doge like That's a big difficulty number. If you take that difficulty number and you look at the containers that are installed and you say, yeah, OK, I guess they're telling the truth. It's a big deal. It's a big step forward for us that we're looking forward to. So, you know, this whole project has been about transparency. It's all been about proof. And, you know, the more we show, the more we expect to have you believe us. But of course, you know, until somebody with some level of authority comes along and says, yeah, OK, we went through, we verified it. Maybe they send somebody out to the mining site. Maybe they install the node and, you know, they use the node spinner upper. What do we call it? The nodes. No, I don't even remember what it's called. So if you want to find out how to spin up a node, you can go to honest money and you can find in our blockchain tools, we've got the node spinner. spinner.nodes.honest.money. There you go. So if you spin up a full node here, it'll show you exactly how to do it. And then that's when you get access to these day-to-day commands, service commands that deal with the network. And then you can do all these chain and sync commands. You can ask the network how it's doing. You can create transactions, but you have the ability to talk directly with the network in like blockchain code. And what that does is, again, it just gives a third party a level of access that no one's had before where they can go in and they can evaluate whether or not they think that we're being honest. And once that happens, it's a big step forward for us. And and all that data then on the coin market cap page will be correct, which is a huge thing. So so, again, a couple of housekeeping things there to kick off tonight's call. Thanks for joining. Let's see what's next on my agenda. We'll come back to that. We'll come back to that. OK, so back to Toronto. I want to take you guys through real quick what my presentation was about. We paid thirty thousand dollars for the gold sponsor package. We got a really great booth front and center. We had a cabana where we could have, you know, semi-private conversations and do podcasts with people, which happened. We've got an ice cream, technically a gelato station there right next to us, which was a huge crowd pleaser. And it kept the line of people right in front of our booth the entire time that the ice cream shop was open. So we got a lot out of the package. But we also got a speaking slot to go up and share our story with the community. Now, these things are tough. And I've got a little bit of negative feedback for our friend that put together the video that was posted to X because there's like... an applause track at the end of it that makes it sound like we're inside of like the FIFA World Cup Stadium and hundreds of thousands of people are screaming and cheering for, you know, whatever it is I just set up on stage. And that's not in any way close to what happens when you're on a stage there. Unless you're the main event, you know, you might have ten or twenty or thirty people in the audience and you're not you're communicating, of course, with them. But you're communicating with the whole world because that thing is live streamed. It goes out to their community. We have an opportunity to capture those videos and share with our community. So there are a lot of great reasons to be on those stages. Speaks to credibility. But you get out there and you hope to have a few minutes to share a story or a thought with them and. communicate something to them and i've always struggled in those kind of rooms because you know look i've been in this honest money game for a long time i got into it in two thousand and eight you guys already know that story you can look it up if you want the rest of the details but you know i look at these guys that showed up in twenty twenty two or twenty nineteen or twenty seventeen and You know, there's a little bit of an air of like, you know, superiority that I have because they haven't been doing it for a very long time. I mean, we had probably a dozen people at our booth in the last couple of days that said they're brand new to crypto. We're like, how long you've been in there? Like, we just learned about it. We're like, OK. OK, we need to start at the beginning on this conversation. And so it's hard to go into those rooms and feel deeply respectful to a lot of the people that are there because they haven't been doing this for a very long time. And you can kind of gauge what their interest in crypto and blockchain is based on the year that they got involved. If you got involved in like, you know, twenty twenty four, it's Web three AI agentic this robotics that, you know, that's really what it is. If you got involved in like, you know, twenty nineteen, twenty twenty, it's largely driven by like meme coins and the Wall Street bet type stuff. If you got in in twenty seventeen with a lot of the rest of the world, it's because you saw this story about this coin that was worthless and nobody cared about it. And then all of a sudden it's twenty thousand dollars a coin. And you said, yeah, I want a piece of that greatest investment opportunity of our lifetime kind of thing. That's what the conversation was about back in twenty seventeen. Before that, it was ICOs. It was, you know, a new way to raise capital for companies that didn't work out well for most of them or the SEC. And so I look at that and I say, well, I got into this in twenty seventeen. So I got to at least be fair about that. But I made the original Bitcoin coin in twenty twelve and I started my own currency in two thousand and eight. I testified in Congress about alternative currency in two thousand and twelve. So I feel like the grown up in the room and I had our PR team put together a presentation because I was jet lagged and it was short notice. And they put together this thing, which I guess covered the basic things that I wanted to talk about at the event. But I'm bad with slideshows and I'm even worse with statistics and boring stuff. And I said, we got to make this thing more exciting. How can I make this more exciting? And so I put together something that I think was a lot more exciting, but it also spoke deeply to my personal feelings and how they're evolving towards the crypto industry. And again, I'm not taking a more adversarial position with crypto, but I am becoming more increasingly frustrated with mainstream crypto's lack of respect for our project. i think that's probably what it comes down to and somebody sent me a like a like a picture that was dug up on x about roger and charlie and this other guy whose name i can't recall off top my head you know sitting at a table at some expo in like just a couple of young guys at a table handing out brochures and giving away like a tenth or a hundredth or some little teeny tiny amount of bitcoin to people that would come over and download a wallet. And it was grassroots back then. It was just normal people that saw a problem, that stumbled across a technology that gave them the tools that they needed to fix this problem. We saw this problem of fiat currency, banking, and fractional reserves, kind of like letting the whole world down, creating one boom, bust, bubble after another. And we said, man, there's something wrong with this. There's got to be something better. I went gold and silver. The crypto bros went digital. They won. And it's all good because gold and silver are still here. They're still valuable. They're still useful. But they're not money in today's high tech digital world. That's been kind of our basic premise this whole time. I haven't forgotten that. And I don't think those guys that sat down at that table giving away flyers and free Bitcoin, you know, thirteen years ago forgot that either. But a lot of the people that are involved in crypto today, they don't pay too much attention to that. They don't take it seriously. And, you know, it's questionable as to whether or not that message resonates with them at all. And, you know, I look at the work that we've done with Texacoin and I'm really proud of it. And I'm thinking that maybe you are, too. We had a lot of fun. We brought a lot of people together. We made a lot of money together. And so I look at that and I say, man, we really did exactly what we set out to do. And, you know, we're in the spotlight right now and we're going through the regulatory hurdles. And, you know, look, it's been five months that that we've been going through these examinations. We've got subpoenas. We've got document production. We've got, you know, on the record testimony now through through different organizations. What do you call the things where you sit down? It was an interview for me and it was a deposition for some of our other people on our team. So like we've been going through it. And even so, nobody got arrested. No doors were kicked in. No assets were seized. And we really want a lot more respect out of this community because we're doing the work that they don't know how to do. So what I want to do real quick here as we proceed with the call for the night in the next twenty three minutes, we got to wrap it up. I want to take you through what I talked about at the conference the other day and show you kind of the perspective that I have and then give you a couple more details on it. I said, look, I'm not going to tell you about me. If you want to find out about me and Texacoin, just do a search. Instead, let's give away some crypto. I'll give you guys some quiz questions. First person to answer will get a prize. Why have I been in exile for the last five plus months? Yeah, that's right. I've picked a fight with the TSSB or they've picked a fight with me and we've got the cease and desist. So I'm steering clear of Texas. But we really don't have anyone to blame for this thing that we're going through right now but ourselves. And the reason for that is because we could not have made any more noise than we made. You probably saw the post show up on X a couple days ago about how we've got more than a hundred wrapped cars in our community. And, you know, some of them we wrapped, some of them we paid for, others just did it on their own. We've got more wrapped cars in crypto than probably every other crypto combined. And we had twelve trucks in the Dallas Holiday Parade. We had like thirty supercars in the Dallas Holiday Parade. We made a lot of noise. We've got a forty five foot tag axle diesel RV pusher. You can see the size and the scale of that with the official Texacoin baby in front of it. But we've got this bus and we drive this bus all over the country going to events, sharing our story with people. We've got and I don't know if this video will load here. It probably won't. But we've got. Oh, there it is. We've got a hot air balloon. What other crypto has a hot air balloon? We've got no less than three official Texit coin babies. See if we can play the video of baby Benji. There he is. Yeah. And the little model McLaren, which is great. So, you know, this is an interesting story as well, because like we said all along, we're building a community. The community comes together. Babies are born. Lives have been created out of the community that's come together for this project. We took over airport advertising at Dallas, Houston, Austin, Orlando, Miami, LAX. I mean, we dominated those airports. We had more than three hundred billboards up all over the entire country. We crowdsourced the better part of a hundred and fifty million dollars of cash, which we used to build the tenth largest Litecoin Doge mining facility on planet Earth right here in Texas. We paid out millions, tens of millions of dollars of commissions to the people that helped put that community and that fund together. We traveled from one side of the world to the other, sharing our story of peace and prosperity through honest money. We did everything that we set out to do. And we had a lot of fun along the way. And so, you know, with all of this, it's really surprising to me that crypto hit this nine year low. You know, why is crypto retail adoption falling apart? And I said, what could have happened nine years ago that has kind of gone away since then? And I said, well, maybe you guys remember BitConnect or BitClub Network or OneCoin. And of course, this is a really challenging thing, right? Because you start saying Texacoin and you associate it with BitConnect and BitClub and OneCoin and people go, no, no, no, you're judged by the company you keep, bro. You might not want to say those names out loud because those were some pretty terrible things that ended very badly for a lot of people. And it's like, yeah, but in all those examples, you know, we had people go to jail. We had people, you know, that that had like real serious stuff that hasn't happened with us. And we've been through this five month examination. We're not a pyramid. We're not a Ponzi. We're not a rug pull and not a pump and dump, not a meme coin, not an ICA. We're not any of these things that these other guys that came before us got in a lot of trouble for. And so if we're not those things and the doors didn't get kicked in and we didn't get arrested and nobody went to jail, you know, why would we be treated the same way that those guys were treated? Were there, you know, kind of thumb in the nose at them at these events? But that's what happened nine years ago. Nine years ago, you had guys like that that were able to go out and have a conversation with normal people about crypto. And this is a really big part because I said, look, you guys are in here talking agentic commerce and Web three and DeFi purpose markets. Try going to a grocery store. And striking up with a conversation with somebody there about any one of those things and see if they have any idea what you're talking about. I mean, I do it everywhere I go. Hey, are you into crypto? And they go, what's crypto? Well, like Bitcoin. No, no, no. I know somebody who is, but I don't I'm not in that. You know, normally that's the part where you go, well, sit down. Let me talk to you about crypto because it's the money of the future. We all agree on that. And if you don't have any idea what we're talking about, you're going to miss out on that opportunity, whether that opportunity is knowledge so you can prepare yourself and not get ripped off or that, you know, knowledge is. an opportunity to get involved in the next hot, you know, meme coin that comes out or just, you know, dollar cost average with Bitcoin and Ethereum, whatever it is. If you don't know what we're talking about, you can't take a seat at the table. Now, as you guys know, for me, I don't wear Texacoin gear. I'm not out there with a Texacoin hat. I'm in there trying to convince you to get into crypto because I believe it's honest money. And I think that honest money has the ability to benefit everybody. Everyone can with honest money, whether you get into it or not. Honest money levels the playing field. It makes it fair. It makes it so that we're not getting ripped off through inflation anymore. And so whether you actively participate or you just watch honest money become part of our world, you win. You win either way. But I do believe that if people learn about crypto and they learn about it the right way, not through the meme coins and through the DeFi, you know, trading algorithmic bot stuff. But if they learn about crypto as the world's best money, eventually they'll say, well, which cryptos are the best? Well, Bitcoin's the OG. Ethereum's got that, you know, decentralized cloud computing thing going on, which is kind of cool with smart contracts. And Texacoin seems to be the money of the marketplace. There are the guys out there that are building the systems where people can actually use crypto as money, kind of the way it was originally meant to be. Bitcoin became digital gold. Texacoin's out there getting people to actually use crypto again. And so I'm pretty sure that if you learn about crypto, eventually, sooner or later, you'll come across Texacoin as being good crypto. But the guys that knew how to have the conversation, the guys that were outgoing, the salesmen, the outgoing people that were able to sit down and have a conversation with somebody that hasn't gotten into crypto before are largely gone because these projects have been gone for now nine years. Twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen. That's when all these big network companies that, you know, ended up being scams or started as scams. It's hard to tell. But that's when these guys shut down. And so the crypto bros out there, they don't know how to have a conversation to invite people into our community. TechSipCoin does. We have a conversation that invites people to join us on this journey. It's like I said from day one, we'll hold your hand. Let's go through it together. We're learning about the future of money. But the crypto bros today, they don't have a conversation. Well, let's take a look at the next thing. Next question for two hundred dollars. This is to the audience and the crowd at the event, not to you. Who's the number one payment processor in the crypto space? What company is regarded as number one? And the answer is BitPay. They've been doing it for fifteen years. And somebody called me out on this the other day. They said, well, that's not true. They don't process sixty six hundred transactions a month. They process ninety six hundred and thirty eight transactions a month. And I said, that's really great. I'm so glad to see that their own stats page isn't some leftover artifact from ten years ago that, you know, their IT guy forgot to update. It's a live statistic. The last time I looked at it and the time before that, it said sixty six hundred. I went and looked at it today and it says now what? Nine thousand six hundred thirty eight. It tells me two things. Number one, the information is live. And it tells me, number two, that maybe they're paying attention to what we're talking about. But it also tells me that the numbers aren't much more impressive than they were at sixty six hundred. And we were talking about two hundred twenty transactions a day. Now there are just over three hundred transactions a day. What is that two per country per day instead of the one that they were accused of before? Now, I'm not picking on them. but they don't know how to sell it. The crypto bros don't know how to talk about it. And the companies that have raised tens of millions of dollars that have been doing this for fifteen years, they don't know how to sell it. Now, I don't have much time, but I was going to try on this call to take you through what's really wrong with it. And I was going to go to like AppMex and try to do a purchase and buy some gold coins and pay for it with with crypto. Now, I'm not sure if AppMex uses BitPay as well. They probably do because I think I saw it on their website. But let's see how fast we can get through here. I guess I have an account. Verification code. Yeah. All right. Let's see if I can do that real quick. What's my code? So, again, I'm not going to go through this the whole way, but I do want to show you. Four, eight, seven, four, six, seven, four, eight, seven, four, six, seven. I do want to show you how cumbersome it is to go through and pay with crypto. Here's my crypto option here. You got to go all the way down. Crypto via BitPay. Yes, they use BitPay the same way. OK, fine. So let's proceed to shipping method. I don't want to complete this order because I'm not particularly interested in buying this coin right now. But if we went through all the way and we got to the BitPay place, then we would be able to see how very difficult it is to actually complete a transaction with BitPay. You have to set up a BitPay account. You got to go through their onboarding process. You got to go through their KYC process. They're going to make you wait some amount of time until they approve your account. And so it's a really cumbersome experience using BitPay. Now, we have with Nectar Pay, KYC built into that as well, that the merchant can turn on and off, you know, no or a little bit or medium or high KYC. But we don't require the consumer to go through that lengthy onboarding process unless the merchant wants it that way. And so. With BitPay, there's a huge barrier to that. And even so, their statistics demonstrate to us on their own webpage that they've got nine thousand six hundred and something transactions a day or sorry, a month. And we see that as being a really easy number to beat. So we have to go through and nine, six, three, eight. And again, I'm not picking on them. I'm just saying that if they've been doing it for fifteen years and they've raised tens of millions of dollars, they should be able to get more accomplished than that. Talked about Nectar Pay a little bit real quick and then finished the presentation. But that was what we talked about at the event the other day. And again, it's, you know, I'm starting to develop this whole like, hey, what's going on, guys? We have a conversation that people are eager to hear about. We're onboarding new people into crypto. You guys don't know how to talk about this with strangers. We do. And so, you know, I think we ruffled a little bit of feathers there the other day. You know, we're not trying to make enemies in this space. But like I said at the beginning, as we get more mature and we become more comfortable with who we are, we're going to have to take on some people. We have to take them to task. We have to call them out. on what we think that they're failing to do or not doing well that's holding back the growth of the community. And the big thing about that is what we call rails. And so I said in my speech, you know, Texacoins made a lot of noise. We're not like the crypto bros that are lurking in the shadows, trying not to piss off the banking overlords, which could put their rails at risk. And so, you know, we talk about rails. Let's take a look at an email that I got. And I really want to like these guys. I got this email here from Tash at Strike. We're reaching out regarding the emergency cease and desist from the Texas State Security Board that involves your business. To comply with applicable requirements and adhere to Strike's compliance obligations, we have made the decision to suspend your account. Case closed. No appeal, no objection, no opportunity for rebuttal, no discussion. This is the thing that was required by our electric provider to get a four cent electricity price. We had to link it in with their billing method so that we could pay that electricity bill every single day. Just set up a strike account. Everyone's got a strike account. Well, everyone until a state security board comes along and makes an accusation and drafts up a quick eight page document that causes monumental reputational damage, a drastic pullback in our price, you know, cost people in our company their jobs. I mean, this is this is extremely painful for us. along with that we have our account closed that the company that we set up so that we could pay an electric bill on time that's not cool that's not crypto why did they do it do they hate us do they know us no they did it to comply with applicable terms and conditions and regulations because they know that god forbid they get their banking relationship pulled they're done they're cooked they're over Their whole business model depends on this banking overlord that they've taken the need to. But if that gets shut down, they're out. And so they're going to go way out of their way to interfere with small projects like ours to err on the side of caution. Why? Because they cannot lose those rails. They are so scared to lose those rails. that they're going to shut down an account for a company who may not have done anything wrong. Now, obviously, it's going to be really, really hard to definitively make statements like this until we get a verdict. And we're hoping to get a verdict in the next month or two that indicates that we didn't do anything wrong. But we weren't accused of like stealing. We weren't accused of like theft. We were accused of an unregistered security offering. And we're going through it with our legal team. And we've got a response again that we'll see in the next couple of days. But I find it really unfair because I really want to like those guys. But they're sitting there beholden still to the banks. And what they don't understand is that crypto is so big now. It's a multi-trillion dollar industry. It bounces back and forth between two trillion, four trillion dollars. But it's big and there's trillions of dollars of crypto out there. And we made some really great relationships in the last couple of days with people that are out there that do understand and do respect the mission that we have of getting people to actually use crypto as money once again. I don't want to name names yet because I'm excited about a relationship developing and I'll share it with you when it does. But somebody came over and they said, we have five hundred thousand users on our platform. We've got a map on our platform of where they can go to spend it. If you're telling us that you're going to let up another ten thousand businesses that want to accept crypto, we're going to send our community out to support them. Can you add our chain in there? Sure. Of course we can. Can you make it easy for people that have our wallet to go out and support your merchants? Of course we can. They're not our merchants. They're not Texacoin merchants. They're just merchants that we were able to onboard with a simple hardware device that makes it easy for them to take an alternative currency. Your guys have crypto. Our guys accept crypto. Let's trade, man. That was the whole point of this project all along. But what these other guys don't understand, the crypto bros, they put up this white flag of surrender. We're sorry, banks. We're sorry. Please don't take away our rails. We don't need the banks in the first place. We've got trillions of dollars in the crypto ecosystem already. All we have to do is now connect the dots. You have a wallet. You've got crypto. You've got USDT. You've got USDC. You've got Litecoin. You've got Ethereum. You've got Bitcoin. Great. We'll take all of those things. Then, and this is why we're talking about this tonight. Because we're working on the app for the merchants. We're working for the app for the merchants. And we're saying, man, we really need to put a button on that app that says like cash out. Well, in order for us to put that button in there and that app for them to just hit with one little tap to turn it back into real money once again and deposit into their bank account, we need to have banking relationships. We got to set up bank accounts here and we got to have rails there. And we're right back to where we started. Guys, do you know how hard it is to get into crypto? Man, it's a pain in the neck. Try going down to Chase Bank and asking them to do a wire transfer out to Coinbase. They won't do it. Try using one of those, what is it, like MoonPays or something like that. Put your Chase card in there to pay for a MoonPay on-ramp. They won't approve it. It's hard to get into crypto. The banks know what we are. They know that we're not particularly here to make their lives any better. They've got enough profit. It's hard to get into crypto. So why would we go out of our way to give the merchants that are participating in this thing an easy way to get out of crypto? Whoa, whoa, whoa. You made it. You made it to the other side. We connected you with a buyer and they put their crypto in your wallet. Stop. You're good. Now, instead of cashing that out and turning it back into dollars, go support another business somewhere else that takes crypto. We made it. The crypto bros don't realize what they accomplished. They did this. It's not me. I didn't turn crypto in a multi-trillion dollar industry. They did it. And now they're putting up this white flag of surrender. And I call it the white flag of failure. You guys, somebody forgot to tell you that you won. You did it. And they're so concerned about losing their rails. They've lost the forest for the trees, man. Stop worrying about your on-ramps and on-ramps, off-ramps. You got it. Everything we need for a buyer and a seller, a consumer and a merchant to do business with each other, we have in our hands today. We just have to connect them together. And BitPay doesn't know how to do it. We do. The Texas coin community knows how to bring new people into our community. We know how to have a lot of fun. We know how to create things. I know how to get people to actually use this stuff. We've got fair money. We've got downtown digital. We've got nectar pay. I've got so many things that we're rolling out over the next couple of months that connect these dots inside of this industry that won. They won it seven, eight, nine years ago. And they forgot or they never realized it in the first place. They put up the white flag of failure. Please, banks, make us rich. Take over. You got it from here. But we already won and we don't need it. Texas Point knows how to have that conversation with people. We know how to invite people out. We know how to spread this message of peace and prosperity with honest money. We've been doing it now for more than two years. We accomplished everything that we set out to do. And I do believe that someday the price of TXC on the open and fair market will reflect the success of our work. The point I'd like you to walk away from this conversation today with is that we're just getting started. We never gave up. This was never a get rich quick scheme. This was something that we wanted to build to last. And as we clean up some of these loose ends, as we follow through on some of these promises that we made and we gear up for our next big adventure, we invite you to join us. Come with us for the journey. We're having a ton of fun. We're getting more supercars. We're getting more balloons. We want to win next month. But we also want you to know that regardless of the outcome, honest money continues. Honest money doesn't pivot. It doesn't give up. It'll find a way to succeed. Civilization needs it to win. And it needs people like you and like me to see that opportunity and be willing to continue to fight every day for it to have a place in our society. That's what Texacoin is. It was never a scam. And we're eager to prove that to the state of Texas and the rest of the world that we've got something great and we want you to enjoy it right along with us. I'm Bobby Gray. I'm the founder of Texacoin. I'm in exactly one hour. here in toronto i've had a great time it's my first time back in north america in five plus months and uh and i'm sure i'll be back again soon for the adventure to continue have a great night and i'll catch you guys again next week
