TEXITcoin Publishes TSSB Withdrawal Request and Governor Abbott Letter
Thursday, September 24, 2026
Bobby reviews TEXITcoin’s request to withdraw the Texas emergency order, the TSSB’s refusal, and a letter to Governor Abbott. He also outlines legal milestones and the expected December decision.
Bobby Gray joined the September 24 Honest Money Hour from the airport in Athens, Greece, with Maddie and Jay. The main announcement was the publication of TEXITcoin’s request for the Texas State Securities Board (TSSB) to withdraw its emergency order, the agency’s response, and a separate letter to Governor Greg Abbott. Bobby said the project had held back publicity to give the state an opportunity to correct the record. With the TSSB declining withdrawal and continuing through post-hearing briefing, he said it was time for the community to review the correspondence. The case remained unresolved; no withdrawal or favorable ruling was announced. Bobby directed listeners to the legal updates archive on TEXITcoin’s website, covering the February 11 emergency cease-and-desist order, hearing coverage, and supporting documents linked through IPFS. He distinguished the securities-law question from the fraud allegations, which he argued were contradicted by the project’s public disclosures and hearing testimony. In particular, he said an investigator acknowledged knowing before the order was issued about information Bobby was accused of concealing. These were Bobby’s and the defense’s descriptions of the evidence, not findings announced by the administrative law judge. Bobby said the continuing fraud allegations had damaged relationships, complicated banking, and left millions of dollars frozen. The newly published article included the withdrawal request and the TSSB’s same-day response. Bobby said he published the article the previous day but dated it to August 28, when the request was sent. The agency’s response stated that enforcement would address the hearing evidence in its closing brief and seek a recommendation affirming the emergency order to the extent supported by the record. Bobby said a decision was now expected December 23 rather than early September. He described three milestones for rebuilding confidence: the completed hearing, a favorable legal outcome or removal of the order, and a recovery in market price. He acknowledged that some supporters were waiting for legal clarity or stronger prices before becoming more active. The Governor Abbott letter was also added to the timeline. Bobby said he had rejected suggestions to seek a political shortcut through donations and connections, but the supplied discussion ended before he reviewed that letter in detail. On participation, Bobby said the project initially stopped sales everywhere after the order, then reopened after the hearing. Mining participation remained restricted to people outside Texas and Arizona. He described TXC as trading around 17 to 20 cents, compared with an initial 2.8 cents in May 2024 and nearly $7 roughly a year earlier. He repeatedly warned that buying or mining was risky, that the coin could go to zero, and that nobody should commit more than they could afford to lose. His hopes for a return toward $1 were expectations tied to utility and legal progress, not a promised outcome. Jay emphasized education and help-desk resources, while Maddie pointed listeners to honest.money and mine.honest.money. The call also reviewed Tuesday’s launch of the Honest Money Live program with Ron Paul as its first guest. Bobby said the archive included the recording, transcript, and on-chain receipts for a Ron Paul Institute donation and a giveaway prize. Giveaway participation was directed to X to reach the crypto conversation there. Throughout the call, he framed TEXITcoin around voluntary exchange, honest disclosure, education, and proof-of-work infrastructure rather than quick profits. He reiterated the project’s no-influencer policy and described mining equipment deployed across Texas as a tangible commitment to building the network.
I would love to hear your honest, unedited, raw thoughts on crypto in general. Do you have any? You know, I have to be careful. I have to modify my answers because I know where your position is. I don't want to offend you. I want to have an honest conversation. That's the absolute requirement. I want to hear it all. All we've got is the truth. Let's hear it any way you like. Our philosophy solves this problem totally and completely because you might have an opinion on crypto and you might think it's best for you and your kids to do it this way. you have to have some rules the one rules are that uh everything has to be done by free choice if you have a government look at the government hasn't given us a free choice on our gold they took the gold away and we weren't even allowed to own it so you have to have freedom freedom of choice and your answers have to be very voluntary you can't force it on other other people And I add one more thing, that if you're trying to promote such and such issue, it has to follow the principles of natural law. Because natural law has been the oldest principle that the human being has ever had to sort out truth and fiction and the lion. And I say, if you have a system that's slightly different than my system, but we agree on a natural law, that uh we're not a lot a lot we're not allowed to lie he deal or kill and we can keep our own opinions and then how do you how do you change my mind by persuasion volunteerism there are answers to come together so i think that uh that solves all the problems uh imagine that a world where we don't lie cheat or steal or kill our way into prosperity if you're looking for that project it's here and it's called texacoin i'm bobby gray i'm the founder of texacoin i'm joined by some of my besties here maddie and jay thank you so much guys um for almost filling in for me i just landed here a couple minutes ago in athens greece as i continue to work my way west to get closer to the rest of my friends in the United States and more closely align my schedule with all the things that are taking off now in the US. So thanks guys for being here. I really appreciate it. I'm a mess. I haven't showered in a while. In fact, I didn't even bring my bags with me on the layover that we had. We'll see what happens here in the next few minutes. But it's Thursday, September twenty fourth. It's noon in Texas. We're running kind of on this new schedule format. It's not preferred. Because most people are usually tuning in social media and scrolling through the feeds around seven o'clock, eight o'clock at night. And that's when we were doing the show before when I was in Singapore. It worked out actually pretty well because seven o'clock in Texas, p.m. is eight a.m. in Singapore. So I wake up, have a cup of coffee. you know, spiff my hair up a little bit and get in front of the camera just in time to say good evening to my friends in the U.S. So we're trying this out. We'll see how it goes. We just did the live that you saw a couple of days ago as we kicked off a whole new program that we're so excited about. We did that at noon. The viewership was spectacular. And that video lives on now in IPFS forever and ever. And it's archived on the honest.money page that I'll show you guys in just a few moments. So thank you for joining. Thanks for putting up with me. And thanks for being here, guys. Really appreciate it. So we got a lot to talk about today. I'm going to try to get through it quickly because I'm literally standing at the airport, just got the bags and heading to the hotel after this. But we want to talk about something that's actually really important. And it's the reason that I decided to not ditch the call and make the trip to the airport an hour or the hotel an hour away. because something drastic is changing as we speak. And so let me share my screen with you guys and kind of talk real quick about what's going on. So, of course, we're talking about Texas coin. If you're new to the conversation, I want to thank you for joining and welcome you to the exciting continuation of what the Bitcoin community started back in two thousand and eight. You remember Bobby Gray started the American Open Currency Standard in two thousand eight using gold and silver and copper coins to get people back to honest money. it's the same year that Satoshi Nakamoto, maybe not his or her or their real name, started Bitcoin and went digital. And so two very different worlds, two very different strategies, ideas. One took us towards a digital future. The other one kind of went backwards. And I'm man enough today to admit that Satoshi was right. And as the world becomes increasingly digital and fast and as it expands and we do business with people on one side of the world and the other, we need a solution for monetary exchanges that's going to work for that exciting world that we live in today. And so, you know, Bitcoin got started. It was obscure for a couple of years. Then all of a sudden it started to take off. And I watched it in twenty sixteen, twenty seventeen go from a thousand dollars to all of a sudden more valuable. Matty, you remember the flippening that went down when one Bitcoin was more valuable than an ounce of gold. That was like a major turning point for like taking this digital, you know, cryptocurrency asset seriously in mainstream financial markets. And I watched it go from a thousand dollars to twenty thousand dollars. And I watched everybody in the world go, what is going on with crypto? I had a front row seat. I saw it happen in Asia and it was an exciting time. But I also saw what was going to happen to it. I saw the bankers, the guys in the suits showing up at the crypto conventions that was full of young people wearing backpacks and flip flops. And I knew that it was just a matter of time as these banks lied through their teeth saying, we hate crypto, we hate crypto, we hate crypto, that they would be there, you know, getting their hands, their arms, their grubby fingers around as much of the industry as they could. They took over proof of work mining. They are now the biggest holders. I saw an article the other day that now the U.S. government is considered the biggest holder of Bitcoin. Is that right? You might want to check me on that one. It just might have happened the other day. But governments and institutions and banks now run the show. And that's a real shame because we had a financial technology and it slipped through our fingers. It was digital. It was decentralized. It was peer to peer for the people. It was by the people. It was real. It was voluntary. Just like Ron Paul said in the clip we heard a moment ago, you know, whatever we do. are going to see succeed as an alternative and complementary currency has to be honest, it has to be voluntary, and it can't lie or cheat or steal or kill its way into success and prosperity. That is TechCitcoin. There's no better way to put our project into a nutshell than with that description right there. We're picking up where the Bitcoin community left off when they let it slip through their fingers. I don't think they did anything wrong. I just think they didn't understand how important the thing that they were holding in their delicate hands was. I think that they didn't have a leader. I think that they didn't have somebody that cared as much as we do about honest money and they let it happen and it's okay. It's all right because if they didn't mess it up, we wouldn't have an opportunity to be here right now talking with you about how we're going to fix it and do it even better. And of course, that's what Texacoin is. It's our second chance. And there are a lot of different ways to get involved. If you like what we're talking about, you want to support us, you can go out to the open market today. You can find us on an exchange and you can pick up a handful of TXC. Remember, it's extremely volatile. It's extremely dangerous. It's extremely risky. It's up and down and up and down. We started out at two point eight cents back in May of twenty twenty four. We were almost at seven dollars about a year ago today. And so now here we are sitting at seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty cents. It's, you know, feels terrible for some people that got in at the top of the market. It feels pretty good for some of the guys that are looking at this project as a long term community currency movement as opposed to a get rich quick scheme. If you're outside of Texas or Arizona, you're invited to join us as a miner. Remember, crypto proof of work mining gave you a seat at the table. It gave you an incentive to like cheer for a particular coin. Back when Bitcoin was early, guys were mining it on home computers. They were talking to their friends about it. They were encouraging the world to adopt this thing because as these coins went up in value from more people using them and more people trading them, more people circulating and exchanging them, the coins became more valuable and the mining output became more valuable as well. and so the mining is the ownership of the manufacturing uh component of this thing it's the means of production for this digital currency it's a confusing concept it might take you years to wrap your mind around it as it took me a dozen years to figure it out myself so we don't expect you to figure out overnight we do want to remind you that if you'd like to support us you You can pick up a handful of Texas coin on the open market, or you can become a miner outside of Texas and Arizona. Either way, it's risky. Never put in more money than you're comfortable. Be fully ready for this thing to go to zero. And if the lights go out tomorrow, we're all going to go, well, that was weird. We didn't see the solar flare coming. And whoops. But if the world continues spinning the way it's spun for the last couple thousand years, then we think that the future is going to be bright and we think that the future is going to be digital. And we think that cryptocurrency might just be the most honest money that planet Earth and civilization have ever seen. Any thoughts on that, guys? Any input? Any further follow up on our brief introduction to Texacoin before I get into the meat of today's call? I just want to say, you know, as opposed to the two of you guys, I didn't know anything. Matter of fact, when I bought as a miner, I thought Bitcoin was the only crypto. I didn't know there were thousands of them. I didn't know anything. There's thousands of them every day that get cooked up. we're the, this is the place to learn. This is the place to learn hands on hands off with the crypto. You there's, I mean, we've got all the resources now. We didn't have any of that when I was first involved. And if, you know, if you're out there and you're thinking, I really like to learn about this crypto thing, you're in the right place. You're in the right place. The person who told you to watch this video can show you where crypto you is. They can show you how to, if they can't show you how to buy and sell takes a coin, somebody will be glad to. And there's help desk items that can teach you all that. This is just, it's the most amazing project I've ever seen. and what an unlikely thing maddie i'll come to you in just a second because i'm sure you got plenty to say about that but but just based on what you were mentioning jay it's it's really this unlikely thing that we started hey let's take a bunch of people that would have never been caught dead in crypto you know guys that bought gold and silver coins and stacked you know metal and they're safe forever and ever and ever let's go to those guys and invite them to get off the sidelines come off the bench and learn about crypto And the reason isn't because of a financial opportunity or a great investment that you can't miss up, best investment up. It's because if we don't understand these things, we will get dragged into them kicking and screaming. It almost happened. We killed that central bank digital currency thing because enough people said, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We like crypto, but we're not real sure. We want the government forcing it upon us. And so if we don't know what's going on, if we don't know what these words are, this word salad, the crypto community uses, we're going to get dragged into it. We're not going to have a choice because we're going to be too ignorant to know what's going on. And that's why the education component is so important. And yeah, if you figure it out and you get in early, As this whole emerging market is continuing to develop, there's an opportunity to make money. Is it a risk? Of course. Is it something you should put your life savings into and YOLO yourself? I wouldn't do that. Some people have. Some it worked out for. Some it didn't. But the point is that we're focusing primarily on education so that people can make good decisions about their financial futures. Eddie, or I'm sorry, Maddie, what do you got? I mean, for me, I've been in crypto long enough to not be scared if I'm going to make or lose money if it's something I believe in. And this whole libertarian thing has been around longer than crypto. And, you know, that's something that I believe in. And so for me, you know, I did, I bought a, I bought a ZCU miner the other day. And, you know, people, they can go and learn more. We haven't said it, we showed it on the screen, but if you want to learn more, you can go to the website, honest.money. And there's a page on there about mining called mine. dot honest dot money. And people I know there's gonna be a lot of people watching on replay. And so I'd encourage everybody who's tuning in for legal updates that we haven't gotten to yet. Go ahead and hit the like and subscribe button and get ready to share this because it's gonna be good. yeah and and just uh based on what you said maddie you know we want um people to go through all the information there's a lot of it out there now our whole thing has been full disclosure from day one And if you decide that that's an opportunity that you want to research and put some cash into, we'd love you to do it because what we're doing is we're crowdsourcing this project. You know, this is not just, you know, a quick pump and dump. We have a strict no influencer policy. We're not here to make a quick buck. This was never about getting rich. It was getting real honest money actually working in our lifetimes. I think we have a real shot at it. I asked Ron Paul on Tuesday, I said, look, if you were my age, would you be doing this? I mean, you've been working on this thing your whole entire adult life. Is this a fool's errand? Am I doing something stupid and idiotic? Is it impossible? I don't remember what he said, but I don't think it was. I don't think it was. No, I think I think that it was, you know, make good decisions for your family, work hard, be honest and do the right thing. And we'll always be able to then expect a bright future to come along with that. um so you know so this is like maddie said it's it's more than a crypto it's a movement it's a movement for honest money you know it's possible for us to accomplish this goal in our lives um you know just because we've got the tools today that make it able to grow big and uh fast and get to where we want to go so thanks guys for contributing those things and let's talk about why i want to be here with you this afternoon So, like we talked about, we... kicked off the honest money live program uh just last tuesday a couple days ago and honest money live has got the stream here um it's got the archive of the shows that we've done and so we've done one show so far it was really important for us to kick off this show with the goat of honest money the greatest of all time the guy that lit the fire in my heart uh ron paul So we've been talking about this thing for a couple months now, but I said, we're not doing it unless Ron Paul is guest number one. And so we had to work through the schedules and the other complications. But we got there and we pulled it off. We put this page together to show the on-chain receipts of the donation that we made to the Ron Paul Institute and the prize that we gave out. in the drawing that went down at the end of the episode uh maddie you had a great idea of requiring people if they want to participate in the giveaway that they can only do that by joining us on x and i think subscribing to our page i'm not sure if both of those things are required uh but they had to do it on x we disconnected all the other streaming platforms and we said you got to join us on x The reason for that is because that's where young people are having this crypto conversation. We want to catch those people while they're young. We want to tell them to be excited about the future of money. Just make sure that it stays honest. Make sure that it stays real, transparent. And our version of it is proof of work. We really like that because proof of work gives us a real connection between the effort that we put in, infrastructure that we build, and the coins that we get out. we can't cook up a trillion you know lame coins in the middle of the night pay our influencer friends to pump them pump them and then cash out and run there's real infrastructure that backs up our network we've got shipping containers full of the best ASICs in the world, scattered across the state of Texas, and that's what gives us real footprint. That's what makes it so that we can't just rug and run because there's real machines out there that we've invested in that keep us a little bit more rooted and connected to the ground. And so we launched this on Tuesday. We've got this page to tell you about what you missed and a full transcript. So this is kind of like par for the course for us. And we do it that way because like Ron Paul said, if something is going to succeed in the marketplace, especially the money marketplace, it's like you could come up with a new widget and hire some marketing guru to go out there like the pet rock guy and make a couple million bucks. But when you're talking about people's money, like the lifeblood of society, you really got to get it right. And so how do we know what we don't, we're going to try stuff out. And sometimes we're going to mess up, sometimes we're going to make mistakes, you know, we're going to trip up, but If we're dishonest about those things and we don't give people all the information that they could possibly have to make good decisions, then we're just trying to fake our way into success. That was the big problem I had with the Liberty Dollar when I joined them back in two thousand seven, two thousand and eight. The founder of the Liberty Dollar took his silver coin and he bought a sandwich from a vendor on the street in Washington, D.C. This was recorded for the Learning Channel that did this segment on alternative currency. What a great opportunity. And this guy goes out and he buys a sandwich and he drops a silver coin in the sandwich vendor's hand. And they go, oh, what's that? And he goes, oh, it's the new ten dollar silver Liberty and walks away. And he had just counterfeited. You know, when you pass something to somebody that's different from what they think it is, it's a lie. Now, is silver more valuable than a ten dollar bill intrinsically? Sure. Is the gap between the currency value and the intrinsic value of that money smaller than the gap between the piece of paper and the ten dollar bill currency value? Sure, of course. But we can't lie our way into prosperity. We can't cheat people into honest money. There's only one way to get to the truth, and that's through an honest means. That's it. That's all we got. And that's been the foundation of this project from day one. And it's served us very, very well. It served us well as we were talking to people out on the street or in living rooms or in barbecue joints or on giant stages. And it served us extremely well. when we had our day a month ago now in court in Texas. And that kind of brings us to what I want to talk about today. Because what I want to talk about today is, and Jay, you and I were briefly talking about it before the show started, because you were there for a couple of days at the hearing. And you got to see this farce firsthand you watched it live and in person you know i i thought we were going to have like thousands of people up in the bleachers you know packing the room and all that stuff and the attorney said no no let's let's not make it into like a big circus just get a couple people there somebody was there jay was there a couple people were there perfect And I think, Jay, you were on the follow up call that we did where we were talking about kind of our input and reaction to it. Maddie, I think you were there as well talking about that. But we had our day in court and this is all tied back to this February eleventh cease and desist that was issued by the Texas State Security Board. There are a couple of different elements to this thing that went down that I want to talk about. But of course, in our splendid fashion, if you go to the techs at coin.org website, mouse over discover, go down to legal updates, you'll find an extensive archive. If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, you'll see where this whole story began on February eleventh with an actual link to the original cease and desist. As I mentioned before, our videos and all of our files are always pinned to the interplanetary file system. That's how we share it. That's the decentralized web that anybody can get to and nobody can edit. Once the file is out there and you get this thing called a content identifier, it's there and it's there potentially forever. And so this is where we've put the entire archive of everything that's happened in this case. So if you're curious about you know, kind of where this thing started and what's happened since February eleventh, this is the right place to go to check it out. And please do because again, anytime you're making decisions, especially about money, we want you to know all that the good, the bad, so you can make the best decision possible. But Here's the point. When the cease and desist came out, first of all, it was an emergency. It wasn't a phone call from the Texas regulators asking us to sit down in an interview or a deposition. It wasn't a lawsuit filed. It was an emergency shut it down or face criminal charges kind of thing. And so that's important point number one. Number two is we read this thing and we're like, what? This is this is really weird because there are kind of two elements to it. The first one is this question of a security. And, you know, our initial reaction to that is it's our turn. Every crypto goes through this sooner or later. You get big. You're going under the microscope. You're going to be in the spotlight. The SEC is going to be interested and you're going to have to, like, prove up that you're not a security. OK. But the second part, the third part of this thing, which is the part that was the most strange, was the allegation of fraud. And that was really, really weird. It was really weird because, number one, we've been doing these calls. What is this, week one thirty? This is week hundred and thirty one. I've been doing a live call. Since the very beginning, going through it all, the good, the bad, the hacks, the setbacks, the shipping disasters, the losses, the challenges, the hirings and the firings. I mean, guys, full, painful disclosure back a hundred and thirty plus weeks, a wild amount of content, a lot of information. And so When we got hit with this accusation of fraud, it was really weird, especially when you read through the fraud line items. Bobby did not intentionally concealed problems and challenges with the mine and the network. What? Really? Where did they get intentionally concealed? Intentional concealment of a bankruptcy from a company that I ran back in twenty thirteen. I don't remember what all the other things were, but we read them and we're like, how did they come up with that? I mean, not only is it just blatantly wrong, but it's so easy to prove them wrong. And so we got to court a little over a month ago. And of course, you know, the whole, uh, story of that is on the website. Um, where you get to the section here. What we learned, we got the call review like we mentioned a moment ago with you guys jumping on there and sharing your personal stories about it. But the other thing that happened, which was really, really bonkers, is the judge in the case agreed to live stream it. The judge in the case agreed which I thought was really weird to let this thing live stream on YouTube. And I think we counted about a hundred and twenty thousand views across the different segments. I mean, four days of this thing. And at one point, the live stream was pulled off of YouTube and the judge stopped and said, let's get this fixed before we continue. We got to get back on this live thing. Right. So you guys were there in the room. I was there glued to my screen in a hotel room in Amsterdam watching this thing. And one hundred and twenty thousand of you were tuned in and watching from all over the world. And you saw it. I saw it and they saw it as well. What did they see? Who wants to see it first? They saw, in my opinion, people put up evidence that wasn't evidence. Social media posts and witnesses that lied. Not only did they put up social media posts, but they weren't from me. I don't even know where they were from. Here's a random person that put up some stuff on social media. Did you interview this person? Did you find out if they're even a real human being? I mean, what percentage of the stuff on social media now is completely fake? Um... Like, this was really weird. But they also put their investigator, their chief investigator on the stand. Remember that part? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Well, we knew that was allowed, but we did it anyway. We watched this chief investigator admit on the stand. He didn't get tricked into it. We didn't hit him with a curveball that he said the wrong tense or something. We didn't surprise him. We said, did you hear Bobby talking about the bankruptcy amoligament? Yes. Did you hear that before the cease and desist was filed? Yes. Did you put that in there anyway? Yes. I mean, again and again and again and again on every single one of the fraud accusations on the case. And it was weird because. I knew it. You knew it. But the rest of the world didn't know it at that point. You know, it was like, well, Bobby could be lying. You know, this is all going to come out in court. Right. Not a single lie. Zero. And the outcome of that hearing was actually kind of like. bittersweet for me you know because look i knew all the stuff that came out in that hearing all along i i know all the secrets of the mulligan in bankruptcy like so when i see them or hear them parroted or repeated on the internet i go well they don't have the whole story i have it i'm the guy that knows everything because i'm the guy that was there i was the guy that was doing it same thing here i'm the guy that was doing it so then i started thinking of myself before this guy testifies i'm like did they catch me on camera or something like that like walking out of a like a, like a presentation where they asked me like, Hey man, did you go bankruptcy back in and I was like, no, no, they caught me off guard or something. Like, did I get tricked into it somewhere? Like what kind of evidence, because they're going to produce some evidence that proves that I really, really did something terribly wrong and dishonest. And that's going to kill this whole project. I'm like, but what could it be? Well, Well, it was nothing. There was never anything. We knew that. But they wouldn't have said it if they didn't have anything, right? Guys, they had nothing. Nothing. Zero. Nothing. They had less than nothing. When you start taking into consideration the problems they had with their own witnesses... Who did lie about being bankrupt? Who did? Right. Remember that? Oh, man. So anyway, like I said, the outcome was bittersweet, and that's confusing because it's like, well, you were completely exonerated, right? They made a real kind of mess of themselves and were found to be a bunch of kind of bad people right there on the YouTube feed. I was like, yeah, except they didn't stop it. They like, you know, I was on the stand first. I was there for almost a day and a half. And I gave a little speech at the end of my cross-examination. I said, look, I understand that these guys might not have known that we weren't a fraud. They wanted to protect Texans. They issued this order. They didn't have all the facts. They've got the facts now. They've got the guy on the stand, and they haven't put anything in front of me that proves anything that they said. They can stop this right now. They can jump up out of their chair. They can say, judge, don't toss this whole case just because we got a couple of things wrong. They can stop it. They are in a position of authority and they have the power right now to just end the nonsense. And they're not doing it. That's weird. That's weird. So we go through the rest of the hearing and we get more evidence and more of this testimony and more of this stuff. And we and we get to the end of it. And our attorney from Quinn Emanuel, Abby, who I invited to join us on the call today. I don't know if he's actually going to show up, but he gave a really, really great speech, gave a great speech, great closing statement. And he said, look, at this point. This case can be summed up in one word, frivolous. And that's a word that has real consequences. Because if it was frivolous and they did know, and we can prove that they did know and they frivolously filed those fraud claims. Because the security question, it's a law question. I don't know. But I know that the fraud claims are really, really specific. And I know that they're really provably wrong. And I also know that that's the part that has had the worst reputational damage in this whole thing. partners backing away going accused fraudsters don't really want to get involved with that. um not being able to open bank accounts having bank accounts frozen still to this day millions and millions of dollars frozen because of this fraud accusation it's really really painful and damaging and so you know there's there's a real consequence to that and so we reached out to the tssp after that and we said hey you guys were there you saw what we saw and the rest of the world saw it how about you just take a moment real quick and just withdraw this thing Now, we never talked about that, and that's why I'm here tonight, today. We never talked about that, and we didn't talk about it for a very specific reason, and I won't tell you exactly why we didn't talk about it, but we were optimistic that the state was going to do the right thing. Now, on our side, oh boy, were we excited. We were really excited because we had the whole PR team on standby with all the ammo loaded into the chamber to make a story far and wide about this thing. And they said, wait, they're going to do the right thing. Don't make a lot of noise. Keep it quiet. We said, you know, the most important thing in this, whatever happens, is that the record is accurate and tells the truth, tells the story of what happened here. And so you're asking us to be quiet, which is kind of contrary to what we want to do. We want to go loud, man. We want the whole world to see what a disaster that thing was. But we'll do it. We'll stay quiet. We'll turn the other cheek. We know what happened to us in court. We know how unfair it was. We know what was admitted. We know all the things now that we didn't know before. but we'll give them an opportunity to do the right thing. And so I want to draw your attention to a new article that I just published. I backdated it to a specific and relevant date. But I want to read to you what I put on the blog post here. We gave the TSSB a clear chance to correct the record. Now, again, how did we get here? I gave them a little speech. At the end of my testimony, I said, you guys can stop this right now. You can do the right thing right now. You know you got some stuff wrong. Do the right thing. Our attorney, in our closing remarks, gave him another opportunity to do the right thing. Gave the judge an opportunity. Judge, just do one little thing. Just strike the fraud claim. Let's deal with the security question through the motions and the briefings and the follow-ups and all the blah, blah, blah. Just do us a real quick favor and just X out that, just redline that one thing right there. Because every day that this fraud allegation exists, the reputational damage continues and compounds. Well, I'll take a look at it. I haven't heard anything from the ALJ. We sent a letter, as I just showed you. Oh, sorry, wrong button there. There it is. We sent a letter. Our attorneys asked the board to withdraw the emergency order after testimony they say exposed material claims as false. The TSSB declined and chose to continue through post-hearing briefing. We prepared a document, deep dive into the hearing, our letter, their response, and the cost of leaving disputed accusations standing because we have to hold each other accountable in crypto and society and above all else in government. And so I want to encourage our community Texas coin holders, Texas coin miners to take a moment and to read this article. We gave them the off ramp and they refused it. We have a full breakdown of what's at stake here and all the way at the bottom of the article, of course, linked through IPFS. Here is the letter that we sent them. Mr. Fusile testified that he was aware before the order was issued that our client, Mr. Gray, voluntarily disclosed additional information he is alleged to have intentionally concealed. Further acknowledge, blah, blah, blah. Read the letter. You guys haven't seen the letter before. This is the first time that I'm sharing this with you guys today. It's important. Let me tell you why it's important. Because right now we're going again. We shut down sales unilaterally everywhere. And our community went, what? Why? It just says Texas. Let us continue to build this thing. I said, guys, I don't know what we did wrong. I don't want us to get in any more trouble anywhere else. We're going to shut it down until we figure out what we did wrong. Well, it didn't take us long to figure out we didn't do anything wrong. And so eventually we decided to open it back up. We waited till the court thing was done and we had everything on the record that we needed to get there. And we opened it back up and we've gone to our community. We said, OK, it's time. Let's go. They said, well, you know, we will consider it, but we'd really like to to get, you know, an outcome, a verdict from that case. And so we went, OK, fair enough. We understand. We understand. And so I want to point out kind of like the three part process of getting this thing back on track, because everyone wants to know when and what's going to happen to make that happen. I want to I want to remind you guys about these three kind of milestones to keep an eye out for. One of them has already happened. The first milestone was court. And this was an important thing because I talked to some friends that said, you know, we were kind of up in the air. We were listening to the trolls on the internet. Everybody said, you're the worst man that's ever walked the face of the earth and we can't believe we put money into this thing. Then we get to court and we realized that maybe you didn't lie. Maybe you didn't deceive people. Maybe you weren't dishonest. Maybe you weren't a fraud like you were accused. We didn't hear any evidence. We watched the state embarrass themselves. And so... We're willing to give it a second chance. Great. Thank you. Here's milestone number two, a win, a removal of the order, a withdrawal, an administrator coming in and saying, yeah, that's way out of line. It's over. Now, we thought we were going to have that in early September. And we found out right at the end of the hearing that it's not going to come until December twenty third, which is wild form. You need four months to go through that to make a decision. Really? So we said, all right, four months. So if you're listening out there and you're saying, yeah, I'd like to I'd like to keep going, I'd like to help continue to to build and move this project forward. But I'm waiting for that. It's okay. We understand. That's milestone number two. And milestone number three, of course, is the price. Now, we know where we were last September. We'd love to get there again. That puts us solidly on page one. We know where we were before this season. This just happened. We were about a dollar. We know where we are today. I'd love to be back at a dollar. And I think we'll get back there very, very quickly as utility starts to set in and as we get the outcome in this case that we're looking forward to. And so if you're sitting there and saying, look, I want to help, but I saw the court thing. I understand the fraud thing was total crap. I'm waiting for this thing to get dismissed so that I can feel comfortable out there talking to my friends. I'm not saying things like, isn't this thing like under a cease and desist in Texas? I'm in Texas. I'm limited in what I can do in Texas. The state says you can't do anything. And so so if that's you, all good. I totally understand. And if you're out there saying, well, I'm not really going to do much until I see the price on this thing rebound. I totally get it. So we're looking out for those three things. But the reason we're having this conversation today is because we're starting to put pressure on point number two. Let's go back to. the website quick because I published this article yesterday. I backdated it to the twenty eighth, which was the date that we sent that letter. Again, the letter is pinned at the bottom of this article and you can read the letter that we sent them right there. And you can also read their response that came the same day. And they basically just said, yeah, we saw it. You saw it. It's in evidence now. And we're going to let the judge, you know, we're going to let the process do its thing. The enforcement division will address the evidence presented at the hearing in its closing brief and will request the administrative law judge issue a proposal for decision recommending that the emergency order be affirmed to the extent supported by the rec blah, blah, blah. Chat GPT generated total crap and just another continued evasion of responsibility. of the opportunity to do the right thing, which is great. Every time they do that, I go, this is exactly what we expect out of the state. Look, it's the state doing state-like corrupt things right on par. God forbid that one of them actually did the right thing. I would be a little confused. I'd be like, maybe I should stop saying so many things about how bad these psychopaths in government are. Maybe they're not all terrible. And maybe they're not all terrible because I want to bring your attention to one more update that just went on the website yesterday as well. Because there's another addition to the timeline and this is a letter that we sent to Governor Abbott. And again, same thing. I did a deep dive on this whole thing. And I'll frame this by saying that before we got this far, we were invited to reach out through some political connections and just get this thing to go away. Make a donation here, say a nice thing here, another donation there, and it'll all be gone. And I said, no, that's not how we do it. That's not what we do. Well, why not? That's the shortcut. Yeah. No, no, no. No, no. Look, they've made this accusation and we need our day in court to prove that they had it all wrong. And if we don't have the day in court, two things happen. First of all, all the people that also saw the accusation and heard that stuff, they'll never know. they'll know that it was there but then it just kind of went away and and like did the story die or did somebody pull a favor somewhere these guys might really be a fraud because they never proved that they weren't somebody pulled a favor for them and that's how they won No, no, no. That's not how I want to win. I want to win on the merits. I want to win because the facts and the evidence support what I'm saying. If we never get that far, if we don't go to the record, if we don't go to evidence, then the people that are trying to learn about this thing two years from now have no idea what happened. The most important thing is that the record reflects the truth. Whatever that is, for better or worse, it has to be honest. Same thing that happened back in twenty thirteen when I went through my bankruptcy then. I had a deal. I said, no deal. You're trying to bend reality and you're trying to change what actually happened. If somebody is going to read through this thing, thirteen years from now, they have to know the truth. Maybe somebody reads it, maybe they don't. I don't know. But if the record reflects it, at least it's there. Very important. That's number one. And number two is actually a bigger deal. Because if we have to call somebody to pull a favor for us, they own us. They own us at that point. Oh, that Texacoin project, it only made it because I pulled a favor for them. I saved that project. They owe me. They would have been nothing if it wasn't. That's not going to happen. Remember that quote from the movie Three Hundred? Remember Leonidas out there? He's like, well, that's a problem for us Spartans, you see, because we don't get down on our knees. That's not how we want this project to win. Honest money is not going to make it because somebody pulled a favor for us somewhere. That's not how we're going to get to where we want this project to go. No, no, no. It's going to get there on the merits. It's going to get there because men stood tall and told the truth and took it on the chin and kept moving forward against the odds and the costs. That's what's going to get it there. That's what has to happen. Otherwise, it's not real. And so we didn't pull out the political favor. And I want to talk about that because we're not pulling the political favor card today either. We're not appealing to the governor to do us a favor. We're appealing to the governor asking him to do his job. We have now asked Governor Abbott to review what happened because consequences reach far beyond us. So there are two things here I want to kind of point out. The first one is that we didn't ask the governor to decide the case. We did not ask him to bend the law for us. We asked his office to review the conduct of a state agency before that conduct was memorialized in formal findings and before that damage spreads any further. We're not asking for help because we think we can't survive without it. We're asking because an intervention is the right thing to do and because someone, someone in Texas government has to be willing to do it. That's the point right there. That's why the governor's there. He's commander in chief of the state. He gets to keep an eye on his agencies. He gets to see who's doing the right thing and he gets to step in when his people make a mistake. That's his job. He can't babysit every single thing. He's got to cross his fingers and hope that he's got competent people in positions of authority and power. But when it comes from the power of the state, the mighty state of Texas, we can only hope that the idea of having a governor that's able to intervene and stop this thing from going on to the permanent record, we can only hope that that they would take the time and do it. Now, this is why they asked us to stay quiet. Don't make a big deal about this. We're going to back channel this. We're going to get this thing to blah, blah, blah. Well, it hasn't happened. It's been a month now, and the story's starting to get cold. And I'm getting tired of waiting. I'm getting tired of waiting for people in power to do the right thing. We asked the TSSB to do it. We asked the judge to do it. We asked the TSSB again to do it. Now we're going to the governor. That's it. If they're not willing to do it, well, then guess what? Maybe we need a new governor. Maybe we need somebody that's willing to stand up for the rights of Texans. Go all the way down to the bottom of this article. And we tell the governor that the door is still open. This can still end the right way. The governor's office can review the testimony, the order, the internal agency report, our August twenty eighth demand, the TSSB's response. They can ask whether this case reflects Texas policy, Texas values and the standard of integrity the Texans should expect from their government. They can still withdraw the claims that they cannot defend. They can still correct the record. It can still prevent more unnecessary harm and damage to our reputation. And we hope that someone steps in and does that, not because we need somebody to rescue us, but because doing the right thing should not require a court order. And if it does require a court order, if we receive the verdict we expect and Texas is ready for a governor who understands honest money, government accountability, and the difference between protecting citizens and protecting bureaucracies, well, maybe that's the day that we have to announce our candidacy for governor of Texas. And I don't say that lightly, guys, because that's not a job I want. But honest money needs a place to call home. The world needs a place that cares about freedom and liberty. And if that place is Texas, then we're going to make sure that Texas is the land of freedom and prosperity and honest money. And that's a hill I'm willing to die on, guys. Because it matters. Doing the right thing always matters. Remember that movie, V for Vendetta, when he's going around taking people out and he's got the woman and he's giving her the rose and she's like, is it ever too late to say sorry? He's like, no, it's never too late to do the right thing. We waited, we've been patient, we've turned the other cheek, we stayed quiet against what I wanted from day one, against what we were prepared to do. You can even see that in the letter. Where's the letter? Where did the letter go? The letter here? There we go. They say, here's all the testimony. They say Mr. Gray is loathe to raise these issues in a public forum and has made repeated good faith efforts to informally resolve this case. But the TSSB has summarily rejected each entreaty, is that how you say it? And instead has invited sanctions while embracing a position that's at odds with national priorities. And that's what's at stake for us today. And that's why we're not staying quiet anymore. We didn't want to have this conversation. It wasn't something I was real excited about. It was something that we have to do to continue to protect the integrity of this project. That's why we're here. I hope the hundred and four people that are tuned in right now understand what's at stake here. And I hope that this message begins to spread far and wide. We've got a very interesting media campaign all spun up. We've already got, I can't name who they are, but we've already got a couple statewide and also national and international news outlets looking at the story. You know, guys, it's now or never. It's now or never. You know, honest money is not going to wait. The world needs what we have. And we're going to do the right thing. And it's going to be painful sometimes. It's going to be expensive other times. But we're going to make sure that the record shows that good men stood tall and did the right thing. And sometimes it's hard to see exactly what the right path is. You know, we try a little bit here. We use a little bit of grace there. Ultimately, you know, the history books will... you know, figure out whether we got it all right. But for me, I want to be able to look myself in the mirror. I want to be able to look at my wife and my family and have them know that I did the right thing. And I think this is doing the right thing, guys. I think that it's time to share these little tidbits with you. Again, go to the website, click on the latest couple of blogs, articles there, and you can see all that information for yourself. I apologize that I didn't share this with our community sooner. It's not that I wanted to keep you guys in the dark. It's that I was trying to get to an outcome that was gonna give us the ability to keep marching forward in an expeditious manner. We gave them a month. We gave them a month to do the right thing. And the clock has now expired. And so we're sharing that story with the world. We're filling you guys in on why we kept quiet and what has transpired over these last couple of weeks. And again, we're still optimistic that somebody somewhere is going to do the right thing. And that would be a real breath of fresh air. But we're not holding our breath. It's time to move forward, guys, because honest money needs it. We've got a great program lined up for you guys on Tuesday. I was hoping to get with Gary Franchi yesterday, but unfortunately I got stuck in travel. Gary's a really great guy. He runs Next News Network and millions and millions of followers across his channels. But Gary was there with me at the beginning of my journey. And I think that it's so important as we're getting this honest money conversation started that you guys know how far back this work really goes and who the people were in my life that had a positive effect on the decisions that I made in the direction that I decided to go. We'll connect with Gary on Tuesday. We've got a great conversation with Rug Radio and Decrypt on Wednesday with Farouk.
