AI Summary

Bobby Gray and Maddie Allen used the October 29 Honest Money Hour to review a difficult year for TEXITcoin and explain the work ahead. Starting next week, Tuesday’s noon Central call will broaden from a mining update into an ecosystem update led by managers and team members, covering NectarPay, mining, apps, and other projects. Wednesday remains Honest Money Live, with outside guests and shared broadcasts intended to reach new audiences. Thursday stays Bobby’s direct update at noon. Maddie reported roughly 5,000 views and impressions for that week’s Tuesday program. Replay viewers can submit questions on YouTube landing pages before broadcasts, and help.honest.money remains available for support. Bobby also proposed downloadable clips with affiliate links so community members can share material and receive referral credit. The central message was to learn from setbacks without letting them stop the work. Bobby described roughly $1.15 million lost in a Dubai vendor arrangement amid regional conflict, along with the loss of work intended to support festivals. He said an attempted compromise by the former development group exposed wallets but was caught before financial losses occurred. According to Bobby, the team then rebuilt the infrastructure that group had touched, including wallets, explorers, the mining pool, and chain-related systems, in three to four months. Development is now handled in-house. He also described the sudden loss of BitMart access as a major blow to community funds and trading volume, and alleged that Dex-Trade had restricted deposits and demanded substantial fees to return them. The Texas cease-and-desist proceeding remained the largest unresolved issue. Bobby said reply briefs were submitted October 23, with possibly one further document exchange before the record closes. He described repeated extensions and an expected decision pushed into January, potentially late January. Much of his discussion concerned fair notice: he said the Texas State Securities Board investigated for eleven months before issuing its February emergency order without first interviewing or warning him. He disputed the fraud allegations and argued that the state had not corrected statements he considers false. Those remain his account and arguments in an unresolved proceeding, not findings announced on this call. Bobby said the fallout included frozen bank funds only recently released, halted sales, more than $5 million in legal bills, and lost McKinney relationships. He pointed to beans.honest.money for invoices and payment receipts, and said an $85,000 Texas Music Revolution sponsorship was canceled without a refund. On payments, Bobby reported working NectarPay NFC tap-to-pay functionality and payment splitting that can route part of a purchase toward a fundraiser or community organization. He said these functions work without smart contracts, with approval flows that can include Telegram. NectarPay terminals support multiple cryptocurrencies, but the immediate community focus is TEXITcoin and Texas Stable Dollar. He outlined a simpler merchant option: link a Beekeeper wallet to a TEXITcoin address, display a QR sticker on an existing payment terminal, and receive a text confirmation when payment arrives. That approach would reduce dependence on dedicated hardware sales. It was presented as a direction under development, not a completed merchant rollout. Bobby said CoinMarketCap verification and full API integration appeared close, with an email received that day identifying one remaining task. He described the integration as an unusual milestone for a UTXO chain outside Bitcoin, though final completion was not confirmed. The next major goal is SEEDS, a planned centralized exchange with non-custodial operation. Bobby said participating projects would face lower listing costs but would need to bring markets and liquidity, with liquidity intended to be provable. He acknowledged holders disappointed by their returns and stressed that recovery is neither immediate nor guaranteed. His closing priorities were practical: restore exchange access, rebuild liquidity, expand payment use, and keep moving despite the legal uncertainty.

Where'd we get the jingle from? Is that our jingle? It's an original, I believe. Is that a Maddie original jingle? I like it. I like it. I like the idea. Has that intro video changed at all or is it always that exact same thing? The very first version had bad music that you commented on, and you were like, that's an abrupt ending. And so I went back to the drawing board, and that's the one we've been playing for a couple weeks now. Okay, well, first of all, I like that one a lot, but I would like it maybe even more if it rotated through things and ideas, like feature of the week, doo-doo-doo-doo-doo. Yeah. Not such an abrupt ending. Yeah. just an idea you know what i really like about you maddie one of the things i tell you something one time and then it happens yeah we're not checking in like every week on the list that we've been maintaining for the last six months i think it i communicate it it happens and ideas yeah my pleasure well what's up everybody welcome to thursday october twenty ninth Time marches on. Bobby Gray here, founder slash fearless leader of Texitcoin, et cetera, et cetera. Joined by Maddie Allen, co-host, producer, extraordinaire, guy in the hat, crypto enthusiast for longer than most. Thanks for joining us, everybody. We have a new format coming your way. next week i want to talk about schedule i guess it's not schedule changes but it's program adjustments maybe i don't know i'm not sure what it's called let's talk about it and we'll figure out what it is oh i forgot to turn on my light hold on there now we can see me got this light as a gift and boy does it look good So the adjustment is we're doing Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday calls. So you guys are seeing me borderline too much every week now. I got a lot to say. I'm excited to say it. Some of you show up on a regular basis and thanks for that. But there are so many other voices that we want you to hear and so many other things that you need to be updated on. So Tuesday's call is I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, I think Tuesday's call is going to continue to be at twelve noon central. But it is going to be hosted by our kind of our executive team, our managers, our VIPs and the guys that are leading the way in the honest money ecosystem. And so we've got Tim, we've got Mel, we've got Gage, we've got Eddie, we've got Jay, we've got Thomas, we've got, who am I forgetting? Maddie, we've got, who else? Anna. Shauna, yes. Shauna's going to be hosting it. How could I forget? We had a lot of great people and they're doing a lot of great and different things. And for a long time, Tuesday was the minor update. Well, we have so many ways to participate in the Honest Money ecosystem now that I'd like to see it evolve more into an ecosystem update. So what's happening across the realm in Nectar Pay, in Crypto Pop, in mining, in apps and dApps, like all the different things that we're working on. We want you guys to be in the loop on those things, not just subjected day after day to what's rolling around today in Bobby's brain. which is what you're going to get today. So Wednesday, then, is going to continue to be our Honest Money Live program. And, man, we've had a killer lineup of guests. Ron Paul, Gary Franchi, Tiffany Fong, Farouk Sarmad? Yeah. Number five is going to be Tom Woods. Well, no. Broke was number five. We had... Patrick Byrne was number four. Jeez. And he's putting together a list of guests for us that'll blow your mind even more. So, that's Wednesday. Wednesday is our Honest Money Live. And the whole point of Honest Money Live is to connect with anyone and everyone. Politics, entertainment... Free markets, economics, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, anybody that's got an audience, ask them to co-stream with us. Get our message, their message in front of their community and our community as well. And then we talk about honest money. Whether that conversation gets into Techsitcoin, my favorite thing, or their favorite thing, we don't know. I'm really enjoying the format because I'm meeting people I've never talked to before, and we're having a raw, uncensored, unscripted conversation, sometimes kind of moderated and kept on the path by Maddie. um but it's a really good opportunity to talk to new people and get in front of their audiences and share the message of honest money which is really important and valuable to me and to our community and our project uh as a whole so that is still going to continue on wednesday which is great and then thursday you'll be stuck with whatever's rolling around in bobby's brain and uh and it differs from time to time it um Sometimes it's good news. It's sometimes it's bad news. Sometimes it's thought provoking, philosophical rambling. Sometimes it's legal updates and more. And I like to do it that way. I like to give you guys same thing, the unfiltered, you know, transparent, sometimes painful, sometimes wordy. explanation of what is happening from you know week to week so that's thursday and that's going to continue on at twelve noon as well so i think we're sticking with our twelve noon program tuesday ecosystem update wednesday honest money live thursday what's happening in bobby's brain and you know maddie tell us about the viewership the numbers are giving us an indication that we're doing a good job and we're building an audience Yeah, we had five thousand views and impressions for our Tuesday minor update that we did this week, which is about twenty percent more, but an extra thousand people than we see normally, you know, as as our regular viewer base. And I think a lot of people they're watching on replay because we, you know, put the show out in the middle of the day here and then it travels all around the world at all different time zones and And that's really the thing. I used to watch, you know, before I was on the show, I used to watch consistently. If I couldn't watch live, I'm watching on replay, guaranteed. speeding it up and two or five X so you don't have to listen to all the throat clearing and the and all that stuff. And, you know, we've gotten some feedback about twelve noon not being the most convenient time. It's lunch hour for folks in Texas and Central Time Zone, which is where the majority of our community is. It works well for me right now with me being in Western Europe. We don't know what the future has in store for me, but South America is definitely on my map. But people all over the world tune in at times that are convenient for them. So we try to make it as convenient as possible. Catch the replay if you if you don't connect with us live. I think you can get the replay on X. You can get the replay on stream TXC. You can definitely get the honest money live replays here on honest money. I say here. Are we on honest money right now? Yeah, we are. And another thing I would mention to people who are watching our replay, remember on YouTube is where we post a landing page, usually a day or more in advance, then that gets shared out on Telegram. So if you had a burning question for us and you can't catch it live, you can ask the question as soon as the YouTube page appears as a landing page. Wow, I had no idea. That's totally cool. And we keep forgetting to mention the cafeteria situation. I don't know if anybody even knows what that is or where to find it. But it sounds like you can get into the page on YouTube, put a question or comment in there, and then we will catch it during the live. The other thing that people are really enjoying as well are the clips that you're making. From the work that we're doing and the streams that we're creating. And that's a really powerful thing. What I'd really like to do, and again, all I have to do is wish it and then magician Maddie makes it happen, is put together a section on the Honest Money page where people can go and download those with their affiliate links embedded. And so if you wanna share a clip like that to your ex or your TikTok or something like that, like I don't think we're streaming right now on TikTok. So grab one of those clips, post it out on your TikTok, put your affiliate link in there and let's onboard more people with more wallet adoption or more Nectar Pay or whatever it is. And let's make sure that the credit for that gets to where it's supposed to go. So very happy with the clips. Great job. And please keep up the great work. I'll do my part in creating great content. You do your part in making it palatable and very, very, very shareable. Okay. Do we have any other housekeeping stuff before we get into the focus of today's call? Another thing to mention just in general, if people have questions and they need them to get answered sooner than like a week from now when we do the next call, remember that you can go to help.honest.money and learn from the questions people have asked in the past and ask the team if the answer is not there. excellent thank you um maddie have you ever read the book the forty-eight laws of power ah yes you're familiar with it that was a popular one when i was a therapist working with people getting out of prison like uh oh you got some street cred if you got that sitting on your desk I was thinking like they get out of prison and then you hand them a copy of the book. Here's your guide for reintegrating into society. Good luck. Destroy. Conquer. You know, for me, my story with that book, and it's a very popular book. It's supposedly the number one read for people fresh out of law school as well. You know, I asked our counsel, I'm like, you've read that, right? We're not following the forty eight laws on this strategy of yours. What book is that? I'm like the forty eight laws of power, man. Every lawyer has read it. You haven't read it. What's wrong with you? Never even heard of it. Huh? I got a copy of it when I was nineteen years old. I was raised Christian. I grew up in a Christian family. Sunday was probably the most miserable day of the week for us with my mom yelling and screaming and using every curse word she knew to get us ready to go to church. And when the Gray family minivan threw up on the church parking lot with its eight children spilling out who looked like they wanted to be anywhere else on planet Earth, but they're at church. You know, I was raised kind of that way. And it was kind of sheltered, kind of... kind of, I don't know, I didn't, I didn't get out much. I went to a private school, finally went to a, a public school for a couple of years until I dropped out. And, and so like, I didn't really know much about the world. You know, I had this little blue bell Pennsylvania view of the world. And I was a nice guy, wore my like flannel shirts and my like nice Timberland boots. And I was just a nice guy. Right. Well, then I made a friend and he's from the other side of the river. New Jersey. And this friend thought I was a really nice guy. And he's like, you might be a little bit too nice, you know? And he's like, you need to kind of read some books. he introduced me to two books he introduced me to how to win friends and influence people and the forty eight laws of power and he's like these books are kind of opposites just so you know and you don't have to like pick one or the other you can learn a lot from both of them and so i read them both i enjoyed them both i've read lots of other books like that over the years But there's a story in the forty eight laws of power that really stands out in my mind today that I'm going to share with you. And the Forty-Eight Laws of Power, you know, it's a great book. It was nighttime reading for my children that I homeschooled. My wife and I homeschooled our kids. We kind of unschooled them and world schooled them. You know, when my kids think about their childhood home, they think about a place in like Thailand. And so certainly not the most traditional conventional upbringing for them or parenting path for us. But I used to read this, you know, to the kids when they were falling asleep at night, telling them the stories about the guy who sold the Eiffel Tower twice. Like, just really incredible stuff in there. Anyway, I digress. I share this with you because the subject for tonight's call is, put on my glasses so I can read you an excerpt, No Days Unalerted. No days unalert. And let me tell you how we got here into this being kind of the subject for today's call. We got here because I've been thinking all this week about what a long year it's been. And I'm sitting there going through and making kind of a mental list of what we've been through this year. And I'm not getting down in the dumps about it. I'm just saying, man, we've been through a lot this year, and yet we're still going. We're still making it. We're still making progress. We're gaining ground. We're going to get into that in just a minute. But we're still here after what we've been through this year. So I want to read you an excerpt real quick from the preface of the forty eight laws. and it goes like this mastery of emotions is the ability to distance yourself from the present moment and think objectively about both the past and the future like janice the double-faced roman deity and guardian of all gates and doorways you must be able to look in both directions at once the better to handle danger from wherever it comes Such is the face you must create for yourself, one face looking continuously to the future and the other face looking to the past. For the future, the motto is no days on alert. Nothing should catch us by surprise because we're constantly imagining problems before they arise. Instead of spending our time dreaming of our plan's happy ending, we must work on calculating every possible permutation and pitfall that might emerge in it. The further that we can see, the more steps ahead we can plan and the more powerful we become. The other face of Janice looks constantly to the past, though not to remember past hurts or to bear grudges. Half of the game is learning how to forget those events in the past that eat away at you and cloud your reason. The real purpose of the backwards glancing eye is to educate yourself constantly. You look at the past to learn from those who came before us. Then having looked to the past, you look closer at your own hand and your own actions. And that really resonates with me because we've been through so much this year and we have to stop every once in a while and just look backwards, just a glance, just to remember what we got through, give ourselves a pat on the back for persevering. But to really learn from those things, dare I say those mistakes that we made, so that we can better plan and prepare ourselves for our bright future. And like I said just a moment ago, again, we're not so busy thinking about our happy ending that we lose sight of the work that we have to do every single day in order to make that a reality. And so I thought about that because this week I've been kind of really not overwhelmed, but so deep in thought about all the different trials and tribulations we've had this year. And then I think about all the things that we've done and all the things that we have yet to accomplish. And again, it gives me like a real sense of mastery of those emotions and because we're glancing backwards and we're glancing forwards and we come out to a spot where we're not, oh my gosh, we're gonna be trillionaires, but we're also not overwhelmed with sadness. Those two things kind of balance each other out. And so I wanted to go through the list of the things we've been through this year. Again, not to dwell on them, not to overwhelm ourselves, not to be like, you know, sitting here having a pity party and licking our wounds, but to just stop for a moment and reflect about what we've been through, what we've survived so far this year, and then look to the future and talk about where we're going. And so the first of all, you know, these aren't in any particular order. They're definitely not chronological. The first thing we got ripped off. I don't know if you remember this back in February by a company in Dubai for close to one point one five million bucks. Crazy. A fortune of an amount of money that went up in smoke. Because of something completely outside of our control, completely a war that was promised not to happen all of a sudden breaks out. I'm in Dubai. We get an alert saying you might want to catch the next flight out of town. It's time for fireworks. And I said, what are we talking about? We campaigned on no new wars, didn't we? Wasn't that like the campaign promise amongst other things? I don't know if you remember, but I do. And so all of a sudden, we're doing business with a company in Dubai. Next thing you know, we have to leave. And they shut down. Flights canceled. And a million of our dollars gone. from getting into a contract with these guys that were not able to, they're not able to follow through because they're shut down. And then there's a little bit of bad blood that comes along with that. Hey, you just kind of like turned my neighborhood into like a war zone. We're kind of pissed about it. And we've got an easy way to thumb our nose at not the person that did it, but at least somebody that's from that country. And so that was a terrible setback because not only was it a monetary loss, but it was also something that they were supposed to be creating for us to be able to do the festivals that we were working towards. Number two, we had an extremely close call catching our tech group in the middle of hacking us for basically every single wallet that we've got was exposed to this group. And so we dodged a bullet there on the financial loss, but we had to rebuild every single thing that they ever touched. Mempools, block explorers, the chain itself, the mining pool, the wallets, everything that they ever touched, we have completely rebuilt. They took two and a half years to build it. We rebuilt the whole thing in three, four months. Recently, BitMart shut down. Our number one exchange, the exchange that we were so proud of, so happy with, the guys that befriended us, took our money, served us well, opened the door to our community, gone overnight. They're there one day and they're gone the next. Now, even before that, we were wrestling with Dex Trade, And they were limiting people's ability to deposit. They were our first exchange. Then all of a sudden you got to email them and say, hey, my deposit's stuck. And they say, well, give us twenty percent and we'll send it back to you. What? What kind of crypto is this? And of course, all of these are dwarfed by the first domino to fall. Which was the cease and desist from the state of Texas back in February. And, you know, I think about these things that that happened, you know, the war in Iran. It's not my fault. You know, I like to to take responsibility for a lot of stuff, even things that I'm probably not responsible for, just to give myself a potential ability to have an effect on the outcome. But I can't do it on that one. That wasn't my fault. I was against it. i didn't start the war wasn't me and the same thing can be said for the bitmart thing no idea never saw it coming had nothing to do with us in fact we had just given them more money to launch his candor on there his candor had just taken off on that same exchange gone along with all of our money and our customers monies and our miners money and your money That's not my fault. I didn't do that. Like, I can't be responsible for that. That sucks. That was a setback for me, for you, for our whole community. Our whole market was hinged on BitMart's volume. I think a little bit about the hackers and our dev team that got fired back in May. Yeah, I hired them. It was my responsibility to keep an eye on them. We knew that they were doing and creating things that were outside of the realm that we had the ability to understand and correctly audit before we put it in a position where it could have affected us. You know, but like people get hacked all the time. And so, you know, we have to make a good decision about who we work with. But we didn't have the skills that we have today that could have put us in a position to do it much different. We could have chosen a different group of tech bros to develop for us, but we're going to have risk any way we go there. Well, not today. Today, we do all of that in-house at great personal expense, at a great amount of um stress for the team but to the benefit of our community right and so i think about this texas cease and desist the same way it's like well bobby come on now surely you knew that it was going to be a problem sooner or later right and the answer is like not really Not really. And I'll tell you why, because it sounds made up and people are going to call me out on it because I used to talk about it all the time. But not really, because I ran the American open currency standard for five years running a private voluntary barter currency the exact same way. with not just no problem whatsoever, but an invitation to testify in US Congress as an expert witness. So those are kind of opposite there. One is like you're a dark web criminal doing illegal and immoral stuff. And you're going to be on the FBI most wanted list any moment now. The other end is you're a community leader that's pioneering, you know, community based currencies. And you become an invited guest of the U.S. Congress to share your knowledge and insight. Like they're not the same. They're actually opposites. you don't get to like harden dark web criminal and then accept an invitation to go in and chat with the bros in Congress about the future of money. Like they're mutually exclusive, they're opposites. And so I did exactly what we're doing now for five years, two thousand eight, two thousand nine, two thousand ten, two thousand eleven, two thousand twelve. When I testify in U.S. Congress in twenty thirteen, when I ran one of the largest private mints in the country and of course went spectacularly bankrupt. That's a story for another day. But the point is, I was doing alternative currency. I mean, Russia Today made a documentary that aired on international news about. the republic of texas and their own currency that i was manufacturing for them so it's not like they didn't know it's not like they were unawares i don't know if they didn't care or if they just understood that there's nothing illegal about gold and silver the same way there's nothing illegal about zeros and ones So going into this project, I looked at all the guys that did it wrong. I saw the common attributes with all the guys that got busted and went to jail. Fraud, lies, Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes. You know, something dishonest was always at the core of every single one of those things. And I said, look, we're going towards this whole crypto is not a security thing. We're getting more clarity. And if we don't break the law, if we don't lie, cheat or steal, if we don't defraud people, we've got nothing to worry about. That's the theory. Tell it to the state of Texas because they disagreed. Now, if you go through the legal filings, you will come across some stuff in there about fair notice. And one of the things that we complained about and one of the things that the judge has inquired about in questions that were asked and clarity that was requested before the record closes out. I think the record is almost closed. We had court, then we had briefs, and then we have reply briefs. Reply briefs were due on the twenty third. That's done. They were due last Friday. And so I think there's one more like maybe set of documents that gets exchanged and then the record is officially closed. But one of the things that's come up again and again and again in this whole process is what's called fair notice. And, you know, if you're not a lawyer, if you don't understand legal stuff, it's easy to get confused and be like, well, that doesn't sound important. Like the word theft or money laundering or like, you know, fraud, those sound like important words. But fair notice just sounds like a legal thing. Well, it's a really important thing because we found out in open court that the Texas State Security Board was undercover investigating us publicly. for eleven months before the cease and desist was issued. So it's not like they heard about us on the radio, pressed the emergency cease and desist button. Didn't happen. They learned about us eleven months before they filed their emergency cease and desist with allegations of fraud, eleven months. And so the judge came back to was like, well, how are we how are we calculating the emergency? Are we calculated from the day the issue was the order was issued? We counting it from the day that we went to court, like which emergency are we talking about? Because if they knew about us in March of twenty twenty five and they didn't file the cease and desist until February of twenty twenty six, then it sure seems like we had a lot of time to give these guys over there at Texas coin a heads up or maybe to call them or maybe to invite Mr. Gray in for a conversation or a deposition or a sworn statement. It's not like they gave us heads up that we were breaking the law. We thought that we were doing not just something that was perfectly legal, but we thought we were doing something that was good. We thought that we were doing something that was gonna help communities across Texas. You look at the calls, you look at the work that we were doing, you look at the investments that we made, it's plain as day that we're not here to extract so that Bobby can buy a super yacht and like disappear off into the sunset. Like we're actually here to do a community currency. read all the literature, if you go through the website, if you watch the videos, that's what it was always about. Utility, a real community currency, just like I did back in two thousand eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, but on a cryptocurrency rocket ship. Was there an opportunity to make money? Sure. Is there an upside? Sure. Do we all want to get rich from it? Absolutely. But did we break the law? Well, if if they thought we were breaking the law, they could have given us a heads up. That's what fair notice means. Fair notice means they read the rules. They sent us an email and say, hey, we think that you guys are breaking the law. Can we talk about it? But when you come out of nowhere, they interviewed me zero. They questioned me zero. They didn't even interview me or question me undercover. But when you come out of nowhere and you drop this cease and desist on them, that has this monstrous impact on our business. With things that they know are false, as they testified in court. With things that they know are false. They have a duty and an obligation to be truthful in all of their dealings. Do they have any consequences if they don't? If I tell one single thing that's not true, they get to tell a whole season. This is full of things that are untrue. You know, we want to err on the side of caution. It seems a little unfair. Rules for thee, but not for me. But fair notice didn't happen. And when that first domino fell, look at what happened immediately after that. Number one, bank frozen. Millions of dollars that we used to pay our bills, satisfy vendor obligations, cover commissions, pay for advertising and promotion. Gone. Completely frozen. We just got access to it weeks ago. We just launched Iskander. Frozen. We shut our sales down everywhere because we didn't know we were breaking the law. Nobody told us what law we broke. We racked up a legal bill more than five million dollars. The invoices and the payment receipts are available right now at beans.honest.money. We lost our relationship with the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. We spent at least a hundred thousand dollars with those guys, sponsoring events, developing goodwill, building relationships. And the vehicle that we bought for them to drive around that said downtown digital dollars on the side of it, they've returned it. They said, sorry, guys, you're accused of fraud. We can't be associated with it. We go, yeah, we understand. We paid eighty five thousand dollars to sponsor the Texas Music Revolution so that we could be the exclusive in event payment processor. Utility on our rails canceled zero, no refund. And I look at all that and I go. Anybody else would have quit. Anybody else would have rubbed. And why wouldn't they? That's a pretty big obstacle to be up against. And we're still surviving today. They didn't get rid of the fraud allegations. They didn't modify the order. They learned that the things that they said were untrue. They didn't change anything. They could have changed it that moment. And they still haven't done the right thing. Not only have they not done the right thing, but the judge has extended the amount of time that she has twice. We thought we'd get an answer in two, three weeks. Okay, August is a long time, but we'll get there. Early September, we'll have an answer. And then we'll be like right back to it by like October. Throw a big party, go to the Formula One race, drive supercars around, right back to it. No, no, no, no, no, no. You're not going to get an answer until the end of December. I mean, the beginning of January. I mean, the end of January. Like how long does it take to do the right thing? Like the state has an unlimited amount of time And an unlimited amount of money to keep a boot on our throat until they choke us out. And we're just not going away. Why not? We don't have unlimited time. We don't have unlimited money. But we have an unlimited desire to do the right thing. And as our community gets bigger and bigger and bigger, more people go, yeah, you know what? We might need more people who are willing to do the right thing. for this thing to actually work. And not just Texacoin and not just honest money, but like the future of humanity. You know, if all the good people decide sooner or later to like not show up, why bother? What happens then? Like it's over. And so whether your mission is Texas coin or your mission is honest money or your mission is like making the future brighter for the children or your mission is like just holding civilization together. They're all part of the same moral challenge. And the moment we let them get away with it is the moment that it no longer matters. So, you know, whether we like it or not, we're committed. against all the odds. And we look back from time to time just to remember what we survived. And I'm not even saying we're gonna survive forever. I think we'll be fine. In fact, today I feel better than ever about our prospects for the future. Why? Because this thing works. Because we got it so that we can use NFC cards to tap to pay on these things. because we set it up so that if you've got a donation or a fundraising project, we can split a payment multiple ways. So you go out and support a business that supports the community, boom, blockchain, proof of, I don't know, maybe there's a good name in there, proof of donation, proof of giving, proof of something We got it. Are you saying that can be done on Texacoin, which is a clone of Litecoin, which is a clone of Bitcoin? How's that possible? There aren't smart contracts. Without a smart contract, we can make it so that when you tap your card on there, it goes, oh, you're shopping it here and supporting them at the same time. Click here to approve. Telegram message pops up in a bot that you hit. Oh, like we got it. It works. And now we haven't even talked about it yet, but we're going to take it one step further because, you know, the Nectar Pay terminals, they're really great because they're kind of like crypto agnostic. You put in a sale here for, you know, two bucks and you can pay with Texas stable dollar, Dogecoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, USDT, like you got options. But we're out there building the community of support to actually use these terminals. We're gonna build it on Texacoin and we're gonna build it with Texas Stable Dollar. And so when ninety-nine percent of the people that are going out there and actually using these things are using TSD on TXC, why don't we just simplify it and let a merchant link their beekeeper wallet with their Texacoin address, put a sticker on the back of their existing credit card terminal, So you go, oh, can I pay you with that thing, the crypto thing? Sure. Scan that code, make the payment. They get a text message that the payment just went through and it's done. Now we're not even limited and throttled by terminals. We used to think that we were going to require the terminal sales in order to fund this thing. But the funding, we've got multiple revenue opportunities now without even being a custodial. And so we're coming up with new things every single day that make the mission of honest money that much more achievable, that much more possible, that much more practical, that much more frictionless. You mean coming up with and building almost instantly? We have AI to thank for a lot of that. I mean, I wish we had this stuff last year at this time. Last year, Texacoin at six dollars a coin. If we announced, you know, a terminal program, put a bounty out there for bringing merchants on board and communities and churches and nonprofits and schools. And if we had the rails built last year. We didn't, but it doesn't matter because we have them now and we're not giving up. And so what's the difference? Our job is just a little harder today than it might have been a year ago. But everything we went through in the last nine, ten, eleven months, we had to go through anyway. We had to learn these lessons. Otherwise, how could we make better decisions for the future? And so I stop every once in a while. I look backwards and I say, damn, it's been a year. And for us to still be here today, still having this conversation today, one hundred and thirty five weeks in after going through a hack, after going through getting ripped off for a million bucks, after going through five million dollars in legal fees, our main exchange shutting down. A cease and desist with no fair notice out of nowhere, completely caught off guard, bank accounts frozen. losing relationships with our home city. Our headquarters is in McKinney, Texas, man. It's not like it's some like Nowhereville, like, oh, Vermont says we can't be doing our crypto project there anymore. I don't think we've got any miners in Vermont. If you're in Vermont, my bad. It's the state of Texas. It's home. It's the place where you and I and Patrick Byrne all agree that freedom needs to succeed because that's all we got left. And now Texas is about to go blue. You see that in the news? Holy crap. I hope not. I mean, it's just, it's strange stuff, guys. Strange stuff. And we've survived and dare I say thrived. Now, if you're looking at your Texacoin wallet and you're going, nice try, Bobby. Way to weasel your way out of that one. I put five grand on this deal. There's one guy that shows up like on every one of our lives. I hear what you're saying, but I would love to see my five thousand dollar investment. We hear you. We are aware of the risk and the sacrifice. If you listen to me and I brought you on board, I was up front with you about all that stuff. And if you haven't gotten out of this project yet where you wanted to, that's a shame. But remember, it's not a get rich quick thing. Took us a long time to get to where we are today. For it to take a couple of years for us to get to where we want to go, I don't think that's unreasonable. Hang tight. Hang tight. Support us if you want. Wait on the sidelines if you want. But this thing is just getting started. And when we look to the future and we see all the things that we've got going our way now, and we think about, I don't want to jinx it, but it looks like CoinMarketCap is giving us a fully verified listing now with full API integration. I just got the email from him a couple hours ago saying, okay, one last thing to do. That's a big deal. It's a pretty big deal. The last thing that has to happen after that is we launch SEEDS. We launched the world's only non-custodial centralized crypto exchange. And we do it with the tech that we've pioneered from all these other things that we've been working on making over the last six months. It's all coming together the right way, just in time. So how many chains, you know, because I know there's hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of chains in crypto, there's millions of tokens, right? So how many chains have this level of verification on CoinMarketCap that you're talking about? I don't know. Is that a trick question? Do you know? Well, I know at one point you may have mentioned that it was like only Bitcoin and then... Oh, well, we're the first UTXO chain to get this level of verification. Okay, so what does that mean? Well, you got different blockchains and different technologies, right? Bitcoin came out and it was and is a proof of work UTXO. What does UTXO mean? I actually don't know. Hold on. What? Unspent transaction output. Unspent transaction output. Just like I said, UTXO. means unspent transaction output. It's the way the blockchain works. What happens? The mine creates the first block and you go, oh, there's coins in this block. Great. Well, there's only one coin with one UTXO. And then you send that UTXO to the next guy. You say, I am address one, two, three, four, five. And I send, I've got, I don't know how much Bitcoin was in the first block. I don't even know. Fifty? Is that right? I'm pretty sure. So I got fifty. I'm going to send twenty five to this guy and then twenty five is going to come back to me. So that one UTXO now becomes two. You get one UTXO that contains twenty five coins and then I've got a new UTXO that contains twenty five coins as well. And it always shows how those coins got from that original block all the way down to the coins that you've got in your wallet today. That's done with UTXO. Now, EVM works a totally different way. Ethereum came up with a new model to link that stuff together. What their model is, I don't know. But with proof of work, like Bitcoin and Litecoin, we've got Texacoin. We're the first UTXO outside of Bitcoin to actually get fully integrated with CoinMarketCap's API. It wasn't easy. We had to pull a lot of favors, pay a bunch of money, but we've got it. And now with that, and then we get seeds integrated and we start bringing more people to invite them to come in to seeds exchange with their liquidity, their trade pairs, their markets. Like when we sign up for an exchange, we pay thirty thousand dollars. MEXC was one hundred thousand dollars. We're going to do something that's way less expensive, but we're going to require people to show up with a market and liquidity. Liquidity is the thing that makes an exchange an exchange. How much money you got floating around on that exchange of yours? Well, we'll know exactly how much we have. We'll be able to prove it. So that's the last step that we need for us to get to a point where we're ready to start building and going back in the other direction. been a long year it's been a long year for us if you chop off the end of twenty twenty five and you just look at twenty twenty six we've actually done pretty well we've held our ground better than most other top cryptos we were just looking at xrp the other day two dollars and fifty cents down to wherever it is today down fifty sixty seventy percent where's xrp now coin market cap xrp is at a dollar twenty nine Look at their chart, their one year chart, two dollars and sixty cents down to a dollar twenty nine. That's a pretty big fall for a multibillion dollar coin. So if you take out the end of twenty twenty five for us, we didn't do that bad compared to the rest of the market. Now we got to get our exchange back online, get our liquidity going again. Get ourselves back to a reputable real coin status and then we go. We look to the past. learn from our mistakes, give ourselves a quick pat on the back for our ability to work through the turmoil and the stress. And we look to the future, not to start spending the money or to dream of the happy ending, but to think about all the permutations, all the possible outcomes, all the things that could show up as pitfalls and roadblocks again so that we can avoid them this time around. Think about what we have going for us today and now the knowledge of what we need to do better in the future to get to where we want to go. Light years better than we were the first time around. First time around we go, I don't know, I've never done this before. Well, we've done it now. We've learned from those mistakes. We've got everything going for us and now we keep going. And that is what's rolling around in Bobby's brain today. When do you want to see the visual representation of all we've been building to help balance out all the memories? Well, maybe you can put a logo or something up on the screen to show people a thing or two about what we've done. Well, I had a feeling you might ask for that today. So I ended up evolving it even more and made like a thirty second video. The real question is, can I share it with both of us on screen? Of course you can. We need a can-do attitude. I can. Boom. Get rid of me. Okay, keep going. You got it. Yeah. All right. So what has Texacoin built in about the past year? You might think one project, one ecosystem. Get your guesses in now how many projects we've built. And now you can see. Well, I was paying attention at the beginning and it said. That's pretty good. Well done. Maddie, thanks for putting that together. Really, we got started on this stuff in April, or sorry, in May. And so I would say it's not the past year, it's the past six months. Obviously, Texacoin started long ago, but things have really taken off for us as we've put ourselves in the front seat for Dev and Tech. And it's been a tough year, guys. It's been a tough year. I will agree that it has not been anything close to what I thought, expected, or wanted. we're still here we're still learning every day and we're still looking forward to our bright future and with that i say thank you very much everybody for joining um i will see you again maybe on tuesday with our ecosystem update but definitely on wednesday when we introduce you to tom woods who is another champion of freedom liberty and austrian economics maddie take us away Week one thirty five. Thanks for tuning in.
